so, I'm thinking maybe a couple of wolves were planning to assassinate the alpha before the fire erupted and now they have a plan to create a new order for the pack and so they are going to kill anyone who doesn't agree with them. additionally, eventually they get too power hungry and turn on each other.

the secrets look really good, i'm definitely excited to see how they reveal themselves :p
the only thing about the secret involving malakai being alastair's father is that he's still pretty young to be his father.
they could still have a secret relation just maybe not father/son? or maybe they could if the ages were mixed around a little bit and i made him slightly older.
but for the secret about him and castle being brothers, i'm okay with that c: it'd be interesting to see how he handles the news.
