Hey guys, I'm gonna be taking a few breedings. Same rules as always from me; one per person, title the pm Westrossa Mustang Breeding. Not sure how many I'll take but if you send one in before this post is striking out it will be accepted.

Hello everyone! A quick PSA for us all, myself included because I keep forgetting about this as well;;

When you send in a breeding request, your mustangs must be off of cooldown!

All horses that are newly created have a cooldown period, as explained in the Breeding Section of WM. If you do not wait for this cooldown, from here on out, you will be informed that the horse is still on its cycle and your breeding request will be ignored. Chem opened up her breeding requests last night, how nice of her!, but she has gotten over half of those sent in as pairs with one or both that cannot be bred.

Please note that newbies have been given the chance to reevaluate who they want to pair together and have a foal created, but any older users will not be given this privilege after today! This is to make it a little more fair for the new community members, as I know for a fact I missed this when walking my newbies around! But I'll be correcting that and giving everyone the new information here, as well as personally to my gaggle. sorry my gaggle!



- All mustangs have a 2 week breeding cooldown, to make sure there comfortable in your stables. foals have a 1 month breeding cool down to make sure they grow up properly.



So, if this doesn't make sense, I'll be using two of my horses for an example;

I recently won a horse, Ghil, made back in July.

Martyr posted his being awarded to me on Sunday, April 2. Woo! So excited I won! Party time, let's get breeding and throw confetti, right?
Nope!
Just because he was made in July doesn't mean he's off of cooldown! Cooldown timer starts after you've received the mustang. Ghil will not be able to have any foals until April 16, after his cooldown has finished. All newly created, foundation mustangs have to wait two whole weeks.

Oh look, here's a lovely little mare who wants to have foals!

She was made on March 14! Her cooldown period is done with, she can make all the babies, yaaaas!
Wrong!
This mare was created as a foal, and a foal must, in essence, 'grow up' before they can be bred. Since Imperialist was 'born' on March 14 she cannot be bred until April 14, one full month after she was created.

So! Now that we've all had this lovely walk through, let's get breeding until those requests are closed! Correctly now. :D
