Bone noticed a female dog that looked like she hadn't eaten in days. Being the gentleman he was he tried to search for any kind of prey that he could find. Soon he saw a rat by the house. It was a scrawny rat but it was better than nothing. He kept quiet and soon jumped and killed the rat. He was very lucky to even find it usually theirs more prey on the inside.He took the rat and laid it out in front of Sky.

Skys eyes were wide open as Bone offered her the rat. She gave a weak smile and shook her head softly, Sky kept staring at the rat and how tempting it was right under her nose. "I cannot accept it you must be hungry too. But thank you for offering" she said with a smile.

"You must eat."Bone said pushing the rat closer with his nose. He was hungry but she looked weaker and hungrier than him and he wasen't going to let her not accept the rat. He wasen't going to let a female starve to death.

[Fake Diamond]

"I will be fine, we will soon be getting food from the lady" Sky said trying to sound convincing. She took a look at the rat again but to take her mind off it she looked away at the house.

"You never know when she'll give food again."Bone said with a sigh."Okay then but I will not take the rat back, since I caught it for you so you wouldn't starve." He said with a smile and a nod as he walked over towards a tree. He sat down underneath it, he looked around to see if anybody else needed help with anything.

Sky watched as Bone went off. She looked at the rat and sighed, she coudent just leave it there so she softly took it into her mouth and began eating it slowly. a few times she took quick glances at Bone and thinking how she could repay him.

Shasta pawed the back door of the house.

Bone glanced at Sky, he was happy that she finally ate it. He then looked around at all the other dogs again.

All around the yard Rita saw dogs trying to share food with eachother, sleeping under trees, and searching for food. That sounded like a good idea. Rita slid out from under the roots and shook off the dirt. She walked over to a doghouse and jumped on top of it. She peered in through the house window, and searched for the owner.

Shasta started to feel really hot, in the heat of the sun. She whined,wanting there owner to come out. Soon she heard footsteps and the door opened. She barked and wagged her white tail as her owner stepped out of the house. She had just woken up and she was wearing a purple night gown. She carried a bag of dog food in her hand, it looked brand new. The lady petted Shasta on the head then walked over to there food bowls. She filled the 3 bowls up with dog food. Shasta yelped in delight and hurried over to one of the bowls. She started eating the dry dog food. The lady sat down in a chair and watched the dogs enjoy there meal.

Bone walked over to the bowls, he picked one out and started to eat but he made sure not to eat a lot so that other dogs could eat.
