a: i spend time observing the target and figuring out how they interact with others, and adjust myself accordingly.
d: i only talk to those that concern me; i rarely start conversation on my own.

a: no, not necessarily.

a: when i was a kit i ate a beetle; but all kits do that.

Dapplewhisker: Hmm.. I've never been interested in anyone in that sense. I don't quite know why! But if I were, I'd just want someone who I could laugh with, and cry with. Someone who I could depend on.

Briarstar: Oh, my best memory? Well, back when I was a kit, me and my brother would explore the forest together! There were so many new experiences, and we felt like the kings of the world! What I would give to go back to those days..
Sunpaw: Back when my brother and my dad were alive, and my mom wasn't a bloodthirsty, power-hungry psycho.
Mothflower: Hmm.. Well my family was really kind. I loved them and they loved me! But then they were taken away.. I guess I've just been searching for that same love again, and that's what's ended me up where I am now~

Honeyfur: It's okay. Herbs are nice. ...
Do I have to say more? Okay, fine. I was somewhat pushed into this role. The only reason I don't like it is because I really had other plans in my life. I just wanted to settle down and find someone I could spend my life with. I can't do that anymore. Happy?
Mintkit: Mama says I have to be a warrior, but I want to be a medicine cat! I want to talk to Starclan and heal my friends.

Oooh yes! Questions! I'm loving everyone's answers so far! I'll answer them for a couple of my cats as based on that human au I mentioned a while back about Beachclan being a rather rundown old sea-side town with a significant mafia problem.

Their ideal significant other?;

Barkknot: S-someone who i-isn't afraid of me. Who I-i can talk to and who would listen and support me...
Asptail: No one! I'm a devoted doctor! Someone smart who would challenge but still love me I guess.
Momomoon: Someone reealllyyy pretty who acts all tough but is really a total sweetheart once I get under her skin!
Sorrelstar: Love is a facade.
Malloweyes: Someone who will help me to achieve my...goals.

Their dream date?;

Barkknot: J-just sitting and talking or snuggling maybe.
Asptail: Reading medical textbooks or stocking pharmacy shelves. Exchanging quips under the stars.
Momomoon: A really romantic walk on the beach! Followed by lots of swimming, and more swimming!

Their best memory?;

Barkknot: Most of my memories are painful, the Thoughts d-don't leave. But when I took my math final and got a 100 my mom was really proud, and so was I!
Asptail: Getting into medical school. It was right before Mom and Dad started fighting and we all sat down and had cake. It was nice, relaxing after so much studying. Sometimes a break is good.
Momomoon: When I was home in Japan I used to swim in the pond everyday! It was really nice, especially on a hot day~
Sorrelstar: My 40 birthday when my whole family and Skunkbrush put together a party for me. Sunheart was still around and well, it was the first time I'd really had a party since I left home.
Malloweyes: When I was mayor of the old town, oh the wonderful things I got accomplished! I want that power again.

Do they like their occupation?;

Barkknot: I-i'm not employed. I was trying to get a job as a math teacher but when I started subbing for teacher credit I had a panic attack and couldn't continue. I'm not sure if I'm ready to try again, but Mom says I could switch to a mechanical degree? Not that there are any good engineering colleges close by. And not that any of them would accept an ex-convict.
Asptail: I'm the town's only current doctor, I wish I wasn't though. I love being a doctor but being the only one is stressful... and it means certain people are no longer here to work besides me.
Momomoon: I'm a lifeguard and a part-time swim instructor which means I get to be by the ocean all day! So yeah, I'm happy!
Sorrelstar: Being mayor of Beech town is hard. It's a small town so I have to deal with pretty much everything myself, and boy does this town have it's share of problems. I'm happy making it a better place but sometimes I need to unwind and I never get that chance.
Malloweyes: Leader of the mafia and chief adviser to the mayor has it's perks. Let's just say I have my paws everywhere.

How do they start a conversation?;

Barkknot: I-i usually don't. If I do it's because I'm apologizing.
Asptail: I'll start an intellectual conversation, if they don't respond in kind I'll start snarking or just walk out.
Momomoon: I like to get talking on what they like! Or sometimes what I like! Get to know each other a bit!
Sorrelstar: I treasure my alone time so I'm not about to start a conversation unless someone brings a problem to me. Or if it's my kids, I'll talk about anything with my kids.
Malloweyes: I bring up a deal or tibit of information that would interest my target. I watch them for quite a while before to gather information on the best way to play up to them.

Do they have a habit they want to break?;

Barkknot: The Thoughts, and the apologizing, and the worrying, and the shyness, and... I don't really like myself.
Asptail: Biting my fingernails, it isn't sanitary for a doctor.
Momomoon: I run really weirdly if that counts? My arms sort of do the breast-stroke subconsciously.
Sorrelstar: The bags under my eyes betray me because I so often forget make-up. It's more of I need to make it a habit.
Malloweyes: My men keep splashing blood all over my nice clothes. Not my habit but one that needs breaking nonetheless.

What's the weirdest thing they ate?

Barkknot: Any...any food from prison. That was not good.
Asptail: A lot of the modern cold medicine doesn't do anything and it tastes plain nasty!
Momomoon: People find eel a little odd? I like it though.
Sorrelstar: I ate a box of chocolates that gave me food poisoning. I threw up all night and Asptail said if I hadn't it might have killed me.
Malloweyes: Souls. A beetle. It was speckled.

Cloudpool: Somecat who's calm, kind, and confident. Somecat who makes me feel like I can do anything.

Poppykit: A starlit walk along the river. It's quiet, the only sound is crickets chirping and we're gazing into each other's eyes. Soo romantic!!

Woolyfur: The birth of my kits. Besides Silvernose, they were the most beautiful things in the entire world.
