she hummed at her siblings and gently prodded dovekit. "come on, lets go explore!" she whispered.

berrypaw froze, unable to respond to that. "oh my... i'm so sorry..." was the only thing he could see. "that must be pretty hard for you... loosing a sibling..."

Dovekit looked over to her sister and smiled, "alright let's go." She got up carefully so not to wake Rabbitkit and looked at Ashkit.

the tom shrank lower. "oh man... that must really hurt..." he sighed.

she dipped her head to her two brothers and looked over at dovekit before taking off towards the fresh-kill pile.

"her? what are you talking about?" the uneducated apprentice asked, giving off a confused vibe.

he shook his head, looking down to his paws. "no i've never heard of 'tallpaw',,,"

hearing her chuckle made his heart lift in the situation. quickly changing the subject, the apprentice turned. "i better get going... ya'know, apprentice duties. i'll see you later, dawn." he respectfully dipped his head before running of to the apprentice's den.

he paused to look at the she-cat apprentice. "why hello to you too, oakpaw." he chuckled at her remark. "and that was only one time! let it go!"
