though, i've never actually participated in one before, so i wouldn't be any good ^^;

@delusional illusions RP-ing is fun, and there's no 'minimum level', unless its enforced that way heh. You never know until you try, yeah?

And, just because I feel its easier when it comes to the 'proof of permission to breed with a walker that's not yours', I figured I'd say right here in the open that myself and starryprinxe have agreed to giving the breeding pair of my Aquaria and her Arianrhod a go, because blue-green and silver could have some interesting crossovers! Also, I love the mutations on both lol.

Of course, will have to wait for next opening, but I'm already super excited! ^.^

so, i've seen a lot of people missing customs opening and coming here to talk about it
(yes ok it's been 7 pages since anyone said anything but sshhh it's still relevant)

i feel like there should be something (an item maybe?), to make things fair for people.
time zones can be a struggle, and the popularity of this species is growing fast, making it difficult to get a slot,
but i think everyone should be able to get a custom at some point c:

i have no ideas. with an item (to reserve a slot), it could easily be taken advantage of

i just see people missing customs and i thought maybe we could try to think of a solution!

maybe we could hold contests, and the winner gets a slot for the next customs opening
ahh i dunno >.< i just don't like seeing everyone sad after missing an opening

(btw, if the item idea is still there, there could be restrictions on it.
for ex, you could only use it after a certain amount of openings, like
the rules with customs that was recently made)

I like that idea.
I actually posed an idea about a waiting list of sorts. But that ruins it for the artists, I would think. Having a long, never-ending line.

Or having a separate thread where people can post their custom forms, and the artists can pick and choose which ones they want to do, in what order? Although that could be anger-inducing for some people, thinking 'favourite person picked again'... etc. So maybe not.

Maybe allow users to post breeding forms for others, as long as they provide proof? That way, time zones won't be an issue.
However, that also means that one user can fill up all the slots at once if they manage to post friends' forms in succession.

All of these are good ideas, I'd say, but I see where you guys come from with the issues with each, too. Perhaps cool down, like with breeding? One walker can only be bred every thirty days, so maybe you can only order one custom (from each artist) every thirty days or so as well, instead of each round?

Or the custom artists should try to post their custom openings at different times instead of the same time range every time. If that is difficult, other staff members in different time zones could post the open custom slots on behalf of the custom artist. That would probably mean the staff member who posted it can't order a custom themselves, but it would increase the chances of others ordering a custom.

Ah, that sounds like a good idea! And maybe the staff members can take turns posting at different time zones if possible, so it's not always that one staff member who misses out on customs. Or maybe compensation or something.
