Luke smiled at her as he left. After she was gone he called his family and talked to them for an hour. He thought of Rayne, she seemed like a sweet girl. She wasn't the typical girl that he was used to being around but he enjoyed her and her company. After his conversation with his family he had a shower and started to read. He tried to sleep off and on during the night but only got about 4 hours all at once.
At about 6am the next morning he changed into a pair of shorts and a plain t-shirt. He headed down to one of the restaurants to have breakfast. He found a place close to their rooms and got a seat. He ordered pancakes and leaned back in the booth, beginning to read again.

Rayne was up at her usual early start, which she didn't mind, it meant more time to relax and enjoy herself. She heard the next door room open and close, meaning Luke was up bright and early aswell. After the parties last night, she figured they might be two of few that were actually wide awake at that hour. With that motivation of not dining alone for breakfast, she got herself up, quickly showered and got dressed. She left her hair loose again, with a braid that held her fringe back around her head, a bright contrast to the pastels of her chosen outfit. Underneath she had worn her favourite plain teal coloured halter-neck bikini, the halter bit being visible around her neck. Just in case she opted to go for a swim, a towel was packed in her beach bag aswell, well prepared for anything. She left her room and locked up, humming a soft tune as she walked around to the diner, thinking that it wise to check there first for her new friend.

Luke was sitting in the breakfast place next door to the diner. It wasn't very busy, only four other groups were in here, all of them families. He continued reading his book and taking small breaks from it in order to drink his coffee. He had been here for only about ten minutes and had ordered minutes ago. Although he wasn't here long it was almost time for another coffee or at least a top up. Coffee was his saviour throughout the day when he couldn't sleep - that and exercise. Luke wondered what Rayne would be up to today. He planned a day by the pool after he worked out after his meal.

Rayne smiled as she clocked where Luke was and she quietly slid into the booth, sitting opposite him. "Good morning.~" Her cheerful, soft tone was often too chirpy for some people, particularly so early in the morning. She had a bright smile upon her face as she glanced over the menu, whirring over what she would have for breakfast.

"Oh, I'm full of surprises, as I'm sure you can tell." She grinned softly and pulled the menu over her way so she could read over it properly, letting out a soft hum at reading some of the breakfast meals. "Quite like the rest, not really much different except the mattress being a bit firmer than I expected. What about you?"

Rayne gave another smile and leaned back comfortably against the back of the seat. "Don't be silly, you don't have to wait up for me. I heard you get up, I was already awake, so I figured I'd come find you and bother you for a while."

"You're going to have to stop subtly being mean to yourself. I think you're a lot mrore fun that some of the other people that entered the raffle. I may have to jump overboard if it had been Andrew, or Jessica." She grinned softly and hummed happily at the mention of food, briefly looking around to catch the gaze of the waitress who she gently gave a wave to, to gesture she was ready, but she tried to avoid it being a rude sort of action.
