The she-cat let out a snort of anger as she made her way out of her territory and into that of WindClan. RiverClan had fallen to the sickness and Dapplewish had no desire to remain where she did not feel safe or welcome. Her belly had yet to swell with the kits of her mate but she knew in her heart they were there. Looking over the hills of WindClan she hissed under her breathe; turn to those fleet footed fools? Never. With little mind to the decision process, she waded into the waters of the lake and headed towards the island. She could hear wails from all directions as more cats fell to the illness. She hoped that none had thought the same thing as her and that the island would be free of other cats. She had no such luck, voice irritated as she felt herself reluctantly settling into the ranks of the new AshClan.

xxxfor being so young, palepaw is quite the grumpy cat. he often finds himself watching the cats in front of go by, as if there was no deathly sickness arising in the darkness. he tries his hardest to work and help his classmates, but the threat of disease is always on his mind.
