Honeyfur nuzzled up against the warm paw, basking in the golden glow. She rarely had dreams like this. Most of the time, they weren't sweet, nor were they pleasant. Suspended in a cold, crushing nothingness, Honeyfur would be left with nothing but her smoldering feelings. Sunwhisker had been an excellent mentor. She had passed on her vast knowledge and wisdom onto Honeyfur, and without her, she wouldn't be where she was today. But another less positive thing she passed on was her distrusting philosophy. She let out a muffled yawn into a mouthful of the silky fluff, pausing to think. What was that peculiar smell? It was familiar, and.. No. This wasn't what she thought it was. She swiftly jerked herself back, scrambling backwards through the sand as she pulled herself away from Momomoon. "Oh, mousedung!" She yelped, her golden fur bristling as she backed away.
