BadgerStrike smiled as the apprentices were given their names and one by one called up to stand beside SandStar; The tom felt a pang of sadness as he remembered his own ceremony when his mother wasn't there to support him. 'That's in the past now,' He thought to himself as FlickerPaw was called up, 'The past is the past, all of it.'

The queen yawned as she heard voices in the clearing - Five new-born kits were curled up beside her soft, warm belly. FrostCloud's eyes glimmered with a sweet proudness and she whispered to herself, "They're my babies, and I will love them forever." She rasped her pink tongue over one kit's head who was slowly opening it's eyes.

With a squeal, the kit blinked it's brilliant turquoise eyes open. ThawKit's soft pelt was white and brown with darker areas of black - He had the same long fur like his father. The little tom-kit let out another squeak and began to wriggle closer to FrostCloud's belly, his tail and pelt brushing over HazelKit's.

The she-kit squeaked softly as she felt a paw press down on her tail. The little siamese kit's eyes stayed shut, but her tail stroked the ground softly. FernKit was a gentle little she-kit with beautiful brown ombre fur - tones that were all from her fathers. The kit was small and nimble with lanky legs and a thin tail. She let out a mewl and fell back to sleep.

Weaselkit still had his eyes closed,he mewed ,sensing his mother

Tigerkit was laying a distance away from Frostcloud, mewling as she couldn't find her mother's belly.
