"What did he do?" she asked eagerly.

He wasn't exactly warm himself, being so darn pale, but he didn't move when she leaned into him once more. It was the least he could do after telling her she had to go back.. Even now he could tell she didn't want to go; her hackles were still on end and her words stuttered, even the way she cowered made him incredibly uncomfortable inside. But this was for the best.. right?
Then the other dragon, this Arctic, spoke and Knight's eyes narrowed, he noticed the way Whisper responded and his head lowered and he grit his teeth, tensing his jaws; but this wasn't submission, it was aggression. Yet the loner knew better than to attack the clan dragon, where there was one there was almost always another to take revenge.
But his words, what he was saying.. it started to form lines in Knight's mind, joining the dots. He glanced down at Whisper from the corner of his eyes and a sharp heat nearly blazed within him. So it had been this dragon that drove her to the edge of the territory, made her feel unwelcome and dead to Ice Clan.
Again Whisper responded and Knight wanted to follow her and take a step to keep her safe from the dragon who'd made her feel so unwelcome to begin with.. after she'd said her piece, he growled deep in his chest and fluffed up his wings, "If you hadn't have been so arrogant and cruel, she wouldn't have run away; if I'd not been as close by as I was, your words would have led to her death." he snarled at Arctic.Ƨнa∂σω ) ♛ ( Ƨнa∂σω Ɔlαи ) ♛ ( ˩ɛα∂ɛя ) ♛ ( Ƭαɢɢɛ∂: Conch, GlaciaShadow narrowed her eyes in mild irritation as yet another ice dragon seemed to appear out of nowhere, interrupting her and Glacia's discussion yet again. How on Earth did the Ice Clan leader tolerate this kind of of interruption? Though it seemed the other was willing to wait for an answer and Glacia gave her underling no response or even glanced their way.. how odd. She flicked her tail and Conch, dismissing him in a gesture that meant for him to ask later.
So doubling their food requirement was the secret? Interesting.. but that would mean patrols would have to be out for longer in hunt for even more food and even then she didn't want to cripple prey populations or else they'd all go hungry. Still.. "Then I shall see that it is done.. would you ice dragons be willing to join some hunting parties? If you are all to stay then we'll need all the help we can get to get the prey den stocked."

Whisper was feeling more uncomfortable by the second with the silence, so when Artic suddenly spoke she flinched, her ears flicking back. Yet, she found her silvery eyes widening as she listened to Artic speak, she had never seen the warrior like this, He sounded so honest and desperate. Whisper wanted to tell Artic he was lieing, she wanted to be angry at him, she wanted any excuse at all to stay right where she was under Knight's wing. But she knew that was fair. She knew it, and she hated it. She took a shaky step forward, and when she spoke her voice was quiet. "It's Fine, I shouldn't have just run off like I did." she said softly, managing another small step. It felt as if the wind might blow her off her paws any second, but she stood on her own. She knew if she went back to Knights side for stability now she wouldn't be able to leave.

Kasey nodded, "we'll be quick then, I don't want to keep you from her" He said, stretching his wings out in preparation to fly. He crouched, then pushed off the ground, leaves and dirt sent flying from the wind created by his wings. His impressive wingspan allowed him to make clean ground take offs, and With just a few strong wing beats Kasey was air borne. As he looked to the north, the first few drops of rain rolled down his face and he shook them off, grinning a bit. He had always lived storms, especially when he was the cause of them.
