Forgetting that Seven - well Nikushimi - could read his thoughts, Jace stared at her for a few seconds before he remembered. He then looked back at Zane who had seen Zorrans' mouth open to speak and was happy when he didn't He then moved his gaze to the ground, his fists clenched un-naturally tight. Jace frowned. "Zane," he said but Zane didn't lift his head up. He heard Nikushimi talk to someone but was too angry to be bothered to look up. He breathed out sharply and only looked up when Damian put his hand on Zanes' shoulder. He was a little suprised but he didn't show it. If he was Damian, his eyes would've been on fire. He breathed out sharply and let Damian lead him towards the Manor, past Zorran who he glared at before Damian moved into the way. Jace breathed out lightly, now looking back at Zorran.

Areth shifted back to human form, walking up to Zane. She may not have half the soothing touch and words Theo did, but she knew that if she said something, most would believe her. She had never lied in her life, and she wouldn't start now, "Zane," she said softly, putting her hand on his shoulder, "He didn't kill her." she put her hands on his face, lifted his head, and, looking him straight in the eyes said, "He. Did. Not. Kill. Her."

"I don't care if he made a song and dance about it, I still blame him entirely," Zane growled darkly, pulling his head back from Areth's hands heading into the Manor ahead of Damian who paused at the doors and watched as Zane headed straight up the stairs, turning left at the top. Damian glanced at the ground before looking at Areth.
"I'd leave him for a bit," he said, his voice calm but stiff.
