Eileen looked to Mystery for a moment, then moved to nurse. Rebecca and Jacqueline fell asleep on Mystery's side.

River had picked up her catches and began to walk back to the vets. "I hope they don't mind the food I bring in..." She muttered through the fur.

Mystery rolled his eyes as the pups fell asleep on him, kinda amused. He decided to go back to sleep as well.

Maria thought it was sweet the pups were trusting of him. She shut her eyes and decided to rest until River returned.

[Night Troubles]

River had reached the vets office and snuck in, reaching the room Maria and the pups were in. "I'm back." She smiled, setting the plump crow in front of Maria. "Hope that's ok." She said setting the mice down at mystery paws for when he was ready to eat. She settled herself down and began to eat the rabbit she had caught for herself.

Maria looked at River and nodded. "It's perfect, thanks." she said, very grateful for River getting them food. She was careful to eat the crow, so Eileen wouldn't get exposed to the blood and meat.

she had her eyes closed, before momentarily opening them. she looked around, hoping someone would talk to her (hint hint). she sat her head on her paws and looked around, hoping someone would come.

River smiled, "no problem." She was careful not to make a huge mess with the rabbit blood, so the vets wouldn't have to clean it up.

Maria finished eating, then pawed away the remains. She cleaned her paws before touching Eileen. Eileen was too busy nursing to get into trouble.

Mary returned with some steaks, slabs of bacon, and sausage links. She helped herself to a slab of bacon. Mary laid down and ate her breakfast.

River was gnawing on the rabbits leg, having finished the rest of the animal. "That was delightful." She smiled.

"Yes, it was." said Maria softly, "Thank you again." She nudged Mystery. "Wake up, River got you some mice." she said.
