Talon tilted her head as he paused. "Oh, alright. Well, yes. I figured I'd start them on meat while they were young so they can strengthen up. I only want the best for our kits." she purred, nuzzling him warmly. "Shadow, do you want me to help you back to camp? You don't seem well. Or you could stay here with me for a little while with the kits? To bond? I don't think I can leave them right now, they're too helpless. Plus, I'm afraid Little is going to try and... hurt them." Talon said grimly.

I sighed and headed back into camp, towards the nursery. On the way there, I saw a flash of cream-colored fur out the corner of my eye. When I saw that it was Seashell, my tail lashed angrily and I padded over to her and Sunrise. "Seashell by the Shore, what do you think you're doing out of the nursery?!" I demanded of her.
