Personality:Fuego is very quiet. He isn't timid, though, he just prefers to be alone. Nobody knows what he does when he is unaccompanied and most think of him as mysterious, but he likes that. However, he dislikes when this leads others to believe that he is unfaithful. Fuego is one of the most trustworthy and loyal viscets to walk Earth, and has habits of being far too honest sometimes. Not realizing he is doing it, he offends people with his sincere words often. Clearly, irritation is not what is meant by his candor, but it does aggravate plenty. Adventurous is another word that describes this viscet well. When he runs out of ideas for his books, this fellow will, very willingly, set out and search for an inspiration. Some of his best books, such as The Sparrow's Secrets and Tomorrow Shan't Come, were based on things he'd done on his adventures. The Sparrow's Secrets was inspired simply by a small bird acting suspiciously. Tomorrow Shan't Come came from the time Fuego went out on the day of a solar eclipse and started to wonder what would happen if the moon and sun stayed lined up forever.

Story (First interest in books):
A twelve year-old Fuego sat at the desk in the back of the class, twiddling with his pencil. English lessons were always dull. Flying over the student's head were the teacher's words. The young viscet could not wait until he was old enough to leave school. Then he would be able to do whatever he wanted without having to stick to any of those 'stupid school rules' and he wouldn't have to take lessons anymore. Fuego sighed. He had many more years to wait until his 'freedom'. A loud "Thud!" brought the student back to Earth. As he looked down, he saw a large book with 'A Hidden Horse' written in large letters. He groaned. Did he have to read a book about horses? The viscet rolled his green and black eyes and opened it to the first chapter. The first paragraph read:
Long ago, the farm was full of life. Sheep would happily graze, whilst proudly watching their strong little lambs leap around the fields. Cows would slowly chomp on grass in the shade of trees. It was a happy place. However, this changed one day. Most of the animals had mysteriously vanished while the others became terribly ill. The farmer had disappeared with the majority of the creatures. Soon the sick creatures passed on, for they had no treatment. The skeletons of the poor animals could be seen in the fields of long dead grass, surrounded by rotten fences. It was thought of as haunted. The few that have ventured there have claimed to have seen or heard things, such as seeing moving skeletons and hearing distant whinnies of horses.
This hooked Fuego. "Wow!" he thought, "This is far better than any other book I've ever read! I can't wait to finish this!" Happily, he continued reading. The student finished the first and second chapters. He only looked up when he felt a tap upon his shoulder. It was the teacher. "So, enjoying the book are you?" she asked, "You've read much farther than I told you too." "Sorry, miss!" he nervously replied. A smile spread across the face of the teacher as she said "I'll let you off. It's great to see you reading enthusiastically! Why not try and read more books by that author?" "Yes, miss!" answered Fuego. Looking down, the youthful viscet took not of the author's name. He couldn't wait to read his books.

History:
Childhood
-~*~-
There was nothing really special about Fuego when he was a child. Though not particularly interested in it, he was brilliant at mathematics. He had been taught to always be honest and was never told about white lies, so he never used white lies. Around the age of seven he discovered his interest in mysterious objects.
-~*~-
It was warm autumn/fall day and a nine year-old Fuego skipped over the fire orange and amber leaves scattered across the floor of the woods. They crunched quietly under his paws as he trod on them. The viscet loved walking in the woods. There were so many different plants and wildlife and even when it was winter it seemed as alive as ever.
A couple of squirrels where watching the young viscet from on a branch. Their grasp on the stone they were holding tightened. They didn't want to let it go for they felt that it was special. Unfortunately for them, Fuego had turned around and spotted them. Being the curious child he was, he decided to inspect the squirrels closer and ran towards the tree. Nimbly, the pair of squirrels leaped off of the branch and softly landed in a pile of leaves. However, the stone had not landed softly, nor had it even landed. As soon as the squirrels had hit the floor the stone was sent flying into the air. It hit the branch just above the one were Fuego was now sitting and broken parts fell onto his head. Several of the broken parts looked oddly shiny. The child thought they were probably jewels. Two of them were shaped as wings. He decided to keep them for his collection of odd objects.

Teenage Years:
-~*~-
As he grew older Fuego became more solitary. He went out more often and nearly always was unaccompanied, meaning he was able to have more adventures. As shown in the main story, the viscet discovered his love for horror and mystery books when he was twelve.
-~*~-
A thirteen year-old viscet lay upon his bed, hooked on a book called 'A Raven and His Misdeeds' when he was interrupted by a buzzing sound. He slotted his bookmark in between the pages he was reading and looked at his phone. He had set a timer for half an hour for he needed to get some fresh air every now and then. Fuego tapped his phone and the alarm stopped immediately. He stood up and jumped down the stairs, missing three steps. He opened the door and stepped out.
The viscet had walked into a park with a fountain in the middle of it. He leaned against the side of it and looked into the clear water. Many pennies had been thrown in. Fuego stepped back, for he was going to throw the penny he had brought. As he threw it, a crow shot past. Realizing he had hit the innocent bird, the viscet gasped and ran over to it to check it was okay. Upon inspection, it appeared fine, which it was, though just a little hurt. The coin lay by the bird, it's bronze surface shimmering. If metal could look mischievous, then this bronze circle had a look of pure evil. As if to say he was unharmed and happy, the crow pecked Fuego playfully, before taking to the skies. A few black feathers drifted down and this gave Fuego a fun idea. Before doing his idea, he threw the coin into the fountain. After that, he picked up one feather and cleaned it in the water. Then he wrote 'If you feel like you did wrong, the crow will show you you are strong' using the water and the end of the feather. He grinned to himself before rushing home with the crow's feather still in his paws, hoping the message would confuse or encourage people before the water dried up.
-~*~-
Adulthood:
-~*~-
Now Fuego is an adult he is almost completely solitary. He sits in a small room writing most of the time. He has published most of the stories he has written.
-~*~-
Twenty two year-old Fuego walked up to a store. He went inside to buy his regular things, food, books and soap but something caught his eye. Since it was almost Halloween, there were costumes and shelves full of treats and decorations. One decoration was the skull of a bird. The viscet was oddly interested in it. It seemed like something important in a story he would read someday. He grabbed the closest one to him and checked the price. It was affordable. Then he tapped it. The plastic appeared to be sturdy. He gathered everything he required before paying for what he had.
When he arrived home he rushed upstairs to his office, where his laptop was. The room had a nice orange and black color scheme to match the viscet's fur. He sat on his leather swivel chair, switched his computer on and placed the plastic skull next to it. The viscet wouldn't wait to read a story with a bird's skull in it, he would make his own book.
-~*~-
Current Day:
-~*~-
Fuego is now twenty six and his books have sold well. He lives a happy life on his own.
