Patrol: Morningstar, Woolyfur, Cloudpool, Sedgetail, Harespring, Dappleleaf, Gingerface

Gingerface snarled when thorn sharp claws pricked his pelt. Spinning around, he lashed out at Shrikepaw, eyes flashing coldly.

Cloudpool carefully sorted out his herbs as well. "Yes. I have plenty of cobwebs and I brought some marigold as well." He told Mallowpool.

Woolyfur dodged as many of Russetfall's blows as possible but still sustained a few blows. Snarling, he shifted slightly around the warrior, claws lashing at her side.

The force of Amberstorm's attack made Dappleleaf back up a few steps. The calico she-cat didn't retreat, simply put a bit of space between herself and Amberstorm before slashing at the molly's head.

Sedgetail and Harespring darted between the battling cats, searching out Russetleaf. Jaws parted slightly, they could just barely pick up the scent of herbs from the medicine den from among the mingled scents of clan cats and blood.

Robinstar arrived shortly after the other allies, her cats at her heels. The fighting had already begun, so she immediately led the Clan into the fray. The patched leader wove through the horde of cats, peeking into dens in search of Russetleaf. Pebblepaw's eyes darted around. He never expected the fight to be so... overwhelming! The young cat apprentice cowered in the middle of the fray, whimpering softly in fear.
Robinstar, Tanglestep, Swiftfern, Stormriver, Cherryclaw, Rabbitheart, and Pebblepaw are open for fighting

Shrikepaw barely managed to duck out of the way, stumbling and falling on his side. He scrambled to his feet and swiped his claws at the warrior with an angry hiss.

Sootpelt spotted three over medicine cats and stood up, padding over to them and setting down his herbs. "Hello there. Glad to know I'm not the only one here," he mewed grimly. The dark gray tom forced his eyes away from the battle to meticulously sort out his herbs.

Jaystar barely blinked as Sorrelstar lashed out at her. In fact, she didn't even try to dodge. She simply took the attack head on, allowing the claws to swipe her cheek before retaliated with an attack of her own. She aimed for the neck, wantingto end her as quickly as possible. She would take all nine lives even if it cost all of hers.

Blackstreak wasn't prepared as Dunpond rolled over, and he was forced to jump back before the tom tried to over take him. He charged at him again, green eyes narrowed and calculating, watching closely for the other tom's movement as he aimed a blow at him again.

A loud yowl erupted as Woolyfur slashed Russetfall's side. He could feel the pain lacing through his being but he managed to stay on his paws. Russetfall hissed and pounced, trying to tackle the tom down the the ground and slash at his belly. He was going to avenge Aspenleaf one way or the other.

Amberstorm ducked, though the slash managed to slit her ear, causing blood to fall against her orange pelt. Angered, Amberstorm closed the gap and clawed at Dappleleaf's ears, trying to return the favor.

Thistlethorn's grinned and Nettlefoot giggled at Swanfoot request and nodded more than eagerly at it. "Darling that isn't a favor, it's a gift. And I love it." Nettlefoot purred, getting to her paws as she heard the leader's command the attack. Thistlethorn simply winked as she too got up, unsheathing her claws. "In other words. Leave it to us Swanfoot. Though, if he happens to lose.. more than one... sorry." She chuckled before she her sister began the battle, falling into their familiar battle routine of flank to flank, becoming a well composed flurry of claws and fangs.

Maybe Jaystar was quicker than the leader had anticipated, maybe she was out of practice in paw to paw combat, maybe she was distracted by Sunheart's clear disobedience of her orders and cry of, "Look out!" Maybe it was none of the above, but something accounted for the ease with which Jaystar's attack found Sorrelstar's neck, slicing her throat cleanly and leading to her collasping on the ground. Blood dripped from the fatal wound, but as one of the Beechclan leader's lives slipped away, the red began to darken and clot, knitting itself back together. Still, wounds so large take time even for Starclan to heal and Sorrelstar, just barely breathing again, was still prone.

But certain cats from Beechclan were too busy fighting for their lives to go searching for anyone. Sharkfang bandied claws with Eagleclaw, practically laughing even as the other tom tore into his pelt. He whirled at the cat, claws glinting and slashing in return.

Meanwhile Frostsong was yipping wildly as a Tumbleclan tom came racing at him, jerking out of the way as he came barreling forth. "You run like a badger!" He crowed, but kept a bit of a distance between himself and the other tom, alternating with Claywhistle for quips and darting slashes.

This time Dunpond accounted for Blackstreak's speed, but that didn't mean he was quite prepared for it. The blow caught him quick on the muzzle but the tom still shot out a kick at the Soulclan warrior's legs. If he knocked Blackstreak off balance his speed would make no difference.

Sleetfoot danced nervously where he stood, really not wanting to get involved in the fight and instead trying to pick out the medicine den. If he could just find his way to Russetleaf he'd be golden.

Cloudpool carefully sorted out his herbs as well. "Yes. I have plenty of cobwebs and I brought some marigold as well." He told Mallowpool. He nodded at Sootpelt, greeting him with a grim nod. Lifting his head, he studied the battle feild, trying to see if anyone was badly injured. It was chaotic, cats racing around everywhere. Every now and then he picked out his clanmates. There was Sedgetail and Harespring darting around the battling cats. He stiffened when he spotted Dappleleaf battling Amberstorm. The calico she-cat looked furious as her opponent slashed at her ear. Starclan protect her He sent a silent prayer to Starclan, fur bristling with fear.

Gingerface grunted at the sting of the apprentices paws. Come on Gingerface! Morningstar trained you! Shred this apprentice! He told himself, eyes narrowing coldly at Shrikepaw. Snarling and slashing at Strikepaw, he pressed closer to the apprentice, trying to force the apprentice back.

Woolyfur backed away the moment he felt blood welling around his claws. As Russetfall leapt at him, Woolyfur dodged to the side, claws once again flashing towards the tom as he jumped past.

Pain shot through the calico molly's ear and Dappleleaf hissed furiously. The pain didn't last long though. Not with adrenaline racing through her body. Dappleleaf snapped at Amberstorm's paw.

Morningstar dived into the battle as soon he saw Sedgetail and Harespring racing through camp to find Russetleaf. He had ordered them not to kill the medicine cat, just to protect her until the battle was over. If Sorrelstar really believed Russetleaf was a murderer, it would be Sorrelstar who killed her. With all the chaos of the battle, Morningstar was really only aware of his own clanmates and Beechclan. Lashing out at the nearest cat(Emberstar), he didn't realize it was an ally he was attacking.

Sedgetail and Harespring darted between the battling cats, searching out Russetleaf. Jaws parted slightly, they could just barely pick up the scent of herbs from the medicine den from among the mingled scents of clan cats and blood.

Emberstar let out a sharp cry as claws slashed through her ear and the side of her face. Not even bothering to see who her attacker was, she leapt at Morningstar. With all the scents of the different Clans beginning to mix together, it was difficult to know for sure who was ally or enemy.

Briardusk still could process the slight scent of SoulClan, though, launching herself at Hootdust. A bit hesitantly, Daisyskip followed and lashed out at the SoulClan warrior.

Frostpath managed to sneak around most of the battling cats, deciding it would best for her to look for Russetleaf if she really wasn't going to be participating in the fighting. With caution, she began to look wildly around the TumbleClan.

bramblefur meowed in delight. "it's bramblefur, and you're littledawn! we used to play as apprentices before you became a warrior, remember?" his mind was racing. all along he had thought that verglasclan was gone! now, they had been right next door, in mossclan, like littledawn had said. "i'm in wishclan now. amberstar saved me after the...." the tom trailed off, not ready to touch that subject. he had lost his sister, mintheart, to the raging fire that destroyed verglasclan.

Blackpaw was about to carry his prey back to camp, where he would sneak back in and have Drysun cover for him. Yet, he was interrupted by some Lotusclan cats. Turning his head, he saw what he noticed to be an older she-cat and some pretty kitty. Looking at the white and orange she-cat, he flashed a flirty grin, despite the thought in the back of his mind that she was twice his age. Looking toward the one who addressed him, he brought out his most mature tone, as he was practically a warrior. After all, he just had yet to finish his Wolf Trial, only needing to actually finish it without that rat Fidgetspice! "Black...talon, of Howlingclan!" He said, making up a warrior name on the spot for himself. He wasn't just a young one, as the other she-cat called him, plus Blackpaw didn't want to seem like a weak little apprentice with the pretty she-cat around. Staring at her as he talked, he kept smiling wide.

mallowpool watched the battle go on with wide eyes. he had trouble focusing on one cat, but then saw as sorrelstar went down, his ears going back in fear. "sorrelstar just lost a life." mallowpool hissed, motioning for one of the medicine cats to try and help her. "would jaystar attack one of us if we went to help?" he asked, worry evident in his tone.

Onyxstar didn't want to engage in battle, so she raced in and out of dens, trying to find a certain cat called Russetleaf. She saw two other cats, Sedgetail amd Harespring, doing the same thing. "Any idea where they are?" She asked the two, clearly out of breath.

Bumbletuft stared in absolute horror. He turned to Mallowpool. "I-i'm not sure..." he murmured. "They wouldn't, right? We're medicine cats, they can't possibly attack us!" While he was talking, he found himself gathering herbs and cobwebs, preparing himself to aid Sorrelstar.
