Patrol: Morningstar, Woolyfur, Cloudpool, Sedgetail, Harespring, Dappleleaf, Gingerface

"You were Caveclan's first ally. Of course we came." Morningstar replied. He gave Emberstar a quick nod of greeting and turned his gaze towards his clan. "Hopefully," He echoed quietly.
Cloudpool was going over his herb knowledge, whispering the names of herbs and their effects. The grey and white tom would look anxiously over his clanmates, wondering just how dangerous this would turn out to be. Morningstar and Shadedleaf had told assured him that the battle might not happen at all. He was going just in case. And if fighting broke out, his job was to get the worst of the injured out of the battle and heal them.
Woolyfur, Sedgetail, and the rest of the warriors went over their battle tactics one last time. The only one who was near as worried as Cloudpool was Sedgetail. Her mind kept drifting back to Burrwhisker, worrying that he would get hurt.

As the Lotusclan patrol arrived, Morningstar nodded at Onxystar. "You brought your medicine cat as well? Good. If this comes to a battle, our medicine cats will be the most important asset we have." Cloudpool looked up, his gaze flicking over the Lotusclan cats. He recognized their medicine cat by the scent of herbs coating his pelt. "I'm Cloudpool of Caveclan." He introduced himself.

mallowpool sighed, his jaws full of herbs. tawnystar had sent him to go help beechclan, and for what? a pointless war? but he couldn't say no to his leader. he looked up at the sky, the clouds moving quickly overhead. starclan, help us. he thought somewhat sarcastically. no birds were chirping, and so he heard the cats sooner than usual. he padded into their camp and dipped his head, putting his herbs down. "blueclan is here to help with your injured." he said, feeling uneasy at the fact he was the only blueclan cat here. he picked his herbs back up and waiting for someone to tell him where to go.

Sorrelstar smiled at Onxystar, dipping her head to to the peaceful leader in appreciation. "Thank you Onxystar. And I will do my best to solve this with as little violence as possible." She knew that gaining the loyalty of other clans when they were small had been a good idea- Jaystar had been right about one thing when she first accused Sorrelstar. If she could help it Beechclan was going to become allies with every clan. The tabby stepped in front of the gathered cats, yowling to get their attention. "Cats of Beechclan, cats of Leafclan and Caveclan and Lotusclan. And cat of Blueclan," she added upon the appearnce of Mallowpool, motioning for him to join the other medicine cats. We all know why we are here today- to avenge a fallen friend yes, but more so to stop a menace to the forest." The she-cat paused to let her words seep in before continuing on. "Tumbleclan fights for misguided loyalty to a murderer, Soulclan fights for...other reasons. But they are not our enemy; Russetleaf is. And so," Sorrelstar turned from troops and paced to the edge of the ridge. With a voice loud and commanding she addressed the cats gathered in the Tumbleclan camp below. "And so I give you one last chance Sagestar! Surrender Russetleaf and we all depart in peace! Do not and we will take her by force." Beechclan joined in their leader's speech with a clamor of assent, Burntsoul and Sharkfang being especially enthusiastic.

Jaystar nodded, glad he wasn't planning on backing down. "No need thank me. We are fighting against a common enemy. Today we are friends in paws." She said, pressing her nose into his fur. "I'll admit, I'm scared. Any leader should be. But we are fighting for what we believe in, so believe that Starclan will fight with us." She purred, trying to reassure him, as well as herself. Suddenly a am I liar choice sounded out from above, making Jaystar growl and the rest of her clan hop to their paws. Ready to fight.

"I'm surprised you even agreed to come to this sis." Thistlethorn teased her sister as she watched Nettlefoot groom her fur. "I'd hate for that pretty coat of yours to get messy you know?" "Yes this I know. It's terrible just thinking about it. But I couldn't go and let you have all the fun." She purred, nuzzling her sister joyfully. "Oh hey Swanfoot. A favor? Of course, what is it?

Caveclan

While the Beechclan cats yowled for Sagestar to give up Russetleaf, the Caveclan cats were utterly quiet. With grim faces, they stood just behind Morningstar, staring down at the Tumbleclan camp. Sedgetail swallowed nervously, her gaze searching the Tumbleclan camp, in hopes of finding Burrwhisker. Harespring, who knew about her friendship with him, nudged her sympathetically. He didn't approve of their friendship, but he knew how close they were and sympathized for her. Sedgetail blinked at him, appreciating the gesture even though she knew he didn't like Burrwhisker much.

Cloudpool nervously greeted Mallowpool with a nod, fur beginning to bristle as Sorrelstar began talking. While it was a relief to know he wouldn't be the only medicine cat at the battle, he worried for his clanmates, especially for a certain calico she-cat. He looked over his clanmates and then looked over at Bumbletuft and Mallowpool. "Thank you for coming." He murmured softly.

"Come on! This is our chance! If they won't give her back, we'll have to steal her back! And what perfect time than when they're distracted by an attack from four other clans?" Duskpaws' words rang true in the ears of Cootfeather and Goldenpelt. Asceticslash ran over. "Please let me come too! I want to help save Tigerkit!" "No, you're too young. You only got your name four suns ago, and I fear that revenge still clouds your mind." Cootfeather frowned at her. Asceticslash stomped her paw. As she had aided her father in his escape, a massive insect with wings above its head had appeared. There was a loud noise, a haze of crimson, and a scream of pain as Marblefur stumbled to the ground. A wound worse than any claws opened on his side, and Asceticslash (paw at the time) had no idea how. She blamed Tumbleclan, and Witherclan for not doing anything. No one could do anything. And it would be unwise to allow her to come. "But Duskpaws is only seven moons older than me!" She whined. "Duskpaws has personal reasons to come, Asceticslash. Now, go see if you can help make sure the camp is secure in case one of the clans tries to drag us into the fight." Asceticslash huffed, trodding off. And then the trio was off.

Duskpaws, Cootfeather, and Goldenpelt's feet hit the ground hard as they ran across the wasteland. The ground beneath their paws turned to grass as they crossed the Tumbleclan border, and Duskpaws could feel his heartbeat accelerate. The yowls of fighting cats were apparent as they drew closer to the camp, and the trio charged through the side, bypassing the entrance completely. The tom scented the air, searching for kitscent, and pinpointing it, dashed to the nursery. He picked up the striped shecat, dashing out with Tigerkit in his jaws. "Go, gogogo!" Cootfeather yowled, hard on Duskpaws heels. Goldenpelt was right behind Cootfeather as the trio made their darign escape with their kit.

Everyone, grimly silent, anxiously awaited the TumbleClan leader's response. Ashenclaw's gaze flitted nervously from Sorrelstar to the enemy's camp. Foxpounce quickly reviewed battle techniques in his mind, his paws itching to get on with this fight, while his sister hoped desperately that no battle would take place at all. When Briardusk spotted Bumbletuft, she gave a flick of her tail in greeting and offered a small smile. Frostpath felt almost no emotion at all, however - all she felt was numbness. She dreaded the idea of having to kill someone, especially after what had happened earlier with Featherpaw. The white warrior shuddered at the thought and tried to take her mind off it by scanning the territory.

Littledawn narrowed her eyes in return, a small threatening growl bubbling up in her throat - trying to seem brave. Fact was though, Littledawn was getting nervous. She had no real means to defend herself other than tooth, and that wasn't a very efficient way to fight - at least not on it's own. Her eyes caught on the trespassers paws and his unsheathed claws, glancing at her own paws she hoped the tom wouldn't notice that she had none herself. "This, is Mossclan territory and your tresspassing," She hissed out her every word.
Littledawn seemed to calm herself just a bit at the tom's other question. So I do know him! Could he be... Bramblepaw!? Littledawn's cerulean blue eyes got about ten times bigger than it's original already - natural - large size.
"B-bramble-" Littledawn stopped. He definitely couldn't be a -paw anymore, he was only a moon younger than her! He had to have been given his warrior name. Littledawn could just thump her head into the ground right now! Why couldn't she remember his warrior name? She was obviously there when he was given it! "Uh... Bramblecoat? I-is that you? Verglasclan? You were from there? My clan, err- my old clan! I was from there. I-I thought Branchstar was the only one to have made it out alive from the fire... Ev-everyone else died."

mallowpool nodded to the other medicine cat, his expression grave. "yes. blueclan couldn't just let this war happen without at least trying to help. we value our allies." he sighed, picking at his herbs. his tail flicked nervously from side to side, wondering how much bloodshed this battle would have. "hopefully we can work together to stop many of these cats from going to starclan before their time." he said softly to cloudpool.

Tumbleclan
All will fall in it's place

A yowl shattered the silence like ice. Russetleaf flinched in horror, and crept to the back of the elder's den. ''Don't worry, I'll hold them off.'' swore Stonestorm, lashing his tail. Meanwhile Brightwhisker smiled comfortingly at the scared cat. ''Oh hon...'' she tutted, turning away from the red warrior and to the turmoil that was taking place. ''It's not your fault that old warriors make wars for young ones to die in.'' the tortie murmured solemnly, her mind trailing away on wings to different things.

A frown furrowed Sagestar's brow, and he approached Sorrelstar steadily, all his former fears shoved hastily to the back of his mind. The leader was almost his former self, almost. ''No, Sorrelstar.'' he sighed. ''You cannot expect Tumbleclan to give up their only medicine cat, ever since our old one vanished.'' Sagestar was tired, he too, as much as any of the other leaders, wanted to avoid this war. ''But I don't want to fight either, let us negotiate!'' he exclaimed loudly. But then of course, a hoard of Witherclan cats just had to meddle in their own personal matters. Didn't Fadedstar know that Sagestar would talk to him later about Tigerkit? Unless, of course, Beechclan had told them attack. ''How dare you, Sorrelstar!'' he hissed, lashing his tail. ''How dare you attack us while we're offering a peaceful way?!'' the grey leader spat, eyes brimming with anger. ''Tumbleclan, attack!''

At the war cry of their leader, the cats of Tumbleclan launched themselves at the attackers. They ducked and dodged, clawed and bit. Eagleclaw tore into a battled-scarred tom, yowling loudly (Sharkfang) while Badgertail raced through the fray, scratching where he could, until he set his sights upon Frostsong, a rather obscure Beechclan warrior. In the meantime, Smokefur was charging at the attacking Witherclan patrol, Dustclaw and Burrwhisker hot on her heels. ''No you won't!'' she cried, launching herself at the lagging cat, Goldenpelt. ''Take that, scum of the Earth!'' the light grey cat yowled, her voice like thunder.

''I wish for you to take one of Sagestar's lives.''' Swanfoot replied, flicking her tail. ''He's lived for far too long, I believe, and is turning senile.'' the white warrior sighed. ''He'll put my plans in jeopardy, Nettlefoot, I ask for your services.'' She got to her paws, no doubt to help her clan. ''Besides I hear you and your sister are quite skilled''
