Peppersong took a breath in. "Wish me luck, you guys," she said, and began to claw her way up the tree. She stopped at a branch, and perched herself. "Whoever you are, I will fight you. You should leave now while you have the chance!" She said.

[Synergy]

The noise had stopped, so Featherflight moved on, hoping that the squirrel was still up there.

Moonleaf watched, in case there was more than one cat up there and she would have to help fight. But as of now, she smelled only one scent.

[Synergy]

Featherflight scented the squirrel. It was injured, but that didn't matter. She was too hungry to care. She crept up behind it, where it was gnawing on a nut, and leaped. She snagged it in her claws, but lost her balance, and fell.

Fox watched Peppersong climb the tree she was climbing before. Fox curled herself up tighter and continued to watch the clan cats from under her bush.

[Symphonia]

Beginning to climb the tree again, Peppersong appeared through the branches and blinked at what she saw. Nothing. She looked around, and descended. "Nothing's up there." She told Moonleaf.

[Whistle.Concert]

Falconfrost walked over to Moonleaf once he was done scenting the borders, and sat down, watching Peppersong climb the tree.

Moonleaf raised an eyebrow. "What?" She said. She raised her head up, to try to catch any other scents. There were some nearby scents, but they were faint. "Peculiar." She said, softly. What could that smell be?

Featherflight landed hard in a thorn bush. She blinked, her vision fuzzy. The squirrel lay limp in her claws. She noticed a she-cat climbing the tree she'd been in.

"Yes, it is strange indeed. Maybe we should report to Brightstar about this? It could turn into something bad..." Peppersong suggested.
