If you have an unlimited hoard of a type of pet do you
always keep the pets on your wish list even if you have them?
(e.g. hoarding adult cat lines, do you keep every adult cat line on your wish list?)
I'm hoarding all the hamsters, dwarf and Syrian, all the pps cats, pps chicken and all kinds of rats that look fluffy, and as they're all unlimited I do have them on my wishlist all the time. A lot of people tend to gift me, which I appreciate and I always try to give something back, so I make it easier for someone to find something I truly want. It also makes trading for hoard pets a lot easier this way ^^

Depends. For my bakery hoard, I have taken some of the older pastry pets off my wishlist by now.
Because my hoard is themed and there are many much newer pets that fit into it, I have enough alternatives instead of needing to trade for older, more expensive pets. I can get many recent pets for the same price as an older one, and since the main goal of my unlimited hoards is to increase their numbers as much as possible, I have to keep budget in mind.
With many of the older pets I also already have a ton of them, and feel like I can stop hunting for them in good conscience.
For example, I have well over 150 pages of the September 2011 pony litter. That's roughly 3000 pets from this litter alone.
Are they cute and do I love them? Heck yeah. Do I feel bad for no longer searching for them? Nah. They make up half of my hoard.
Similarly, I have over 50 pages of the 2011 christmas cookie and fruitcake dogs. Over 30 of the gingerbread owls.
I collected them when it was easy, now it's time to focus on newer pets so I can get lots of them, too!^^

I have I think every multitail dog that exists on my WL because they're my main addiction and also so I can find them easily. I'm more focused on my hoards than my collection these days.

so am I allowed to ask this here, but any idea what I should hoard? I have many favorites and it's very hard to figure that out. Also do people name their hoards specially? like a quote or a funny name.

currently my two unlimited hoards are all dwarf hamsters (boop) and the cat litter from last september (boop). I keep all the dwarf hamsters on my wishlist because I'm not actively looking for them and it makes it easier to receive them through trades I get, as people see I'm looking for them and add some to their side. if I were to hoard all cats though I don't think it would - they're so many and my wishlist would be huge. I like things tidy and to me it wouldn't be tidy if the wishlist was too big, haha. besides, the dwarf hamsters were first released in 2014 so they're not too many c:

Well, what kinds of pets do you like? I've got over 40+ hoards that are all unlimited at this point lol.
And I name them off whatever comes to mind when I look at them. If you check my groups you'll see my hoards marked like *hoard name* (Hoard) and that's how I keep them organized.
