I'm currently on a mission to name all of my pets! Not the ones in my trade groups, just the ones I'm keeping. I tend to get attached to things I name.

However, that's still quite a few considering I haven't named any of them.
I suspect I'll eventually give up, considering I am going name them all after a general theme.

I name all of my puppies when I adopt them, and I rename my keeper rats and horses when they grow, but I often won't name or rename pets I traded for unless they're special in some way. I do make sure every pet in my hoard group has an actual unique name though, either keeping their old one or renaming them if they had no name or something like 83yh9r in place of a name. ^^

I usually name them after they're grown up, because I don't really know what it'll look like.
I really don't like it when people are all like, oh, this is my dreampet, and a generous person gives the them the pet, and then it turns out the person who was asking for this pet actually already had one and just wanted to auction it.
