As Ikgrir entered the castle once more, it was silent other than a few creaks here or there. He quietly sneaked back to his room, hoping no one would see him and ask why he had been out so late. Once inside, he shut his door and pulled his blankets back over him. Sighing, he knew he'd only have a short time before the rest of his family would be waking up, but right now he just wanted to rest. His mind wandered to what may come the following days, and couldn't wait until the next time he'd be able to speak with Eris.

(Sure, should we do it to the ball? Like with these meetups, they speak and plan with one another what to do at the ball? Or do you want to have it so Asher actually comes to see Ikgrir? : P )

(( We could have one more meeting where I was thinking Asher could just come to see him and then leave the two of them could maybe have heard about the upcoming ball and plan it out. Then skip to the ball? Just ideas ))

Yeah, we could have it so that either the ball was in a few weeks, or Asher decides to join them a while later instead of the next week?))

(( I think Asher should join them a bit later, so this can be after they've been meeting for a while ))

Alright, so he follows them and shows himself later? I think I understand now, should we start it back up then?))

(( I meant he doesn't come to the meeting they had scheduled for the next week, he comes to one of their later meetings, but he can do a bit of spying and then Eris spots him lol. Yeah, so to be clear, this is after Ikgrir and Eris have been meeting for several times now and they just found out about the coming ball ))

I had another meeting with Ikgrir tonight, and I couldn't wait to see him. I had heard about my family speaking about a ball, fancy dresses, socializing, and such. Normally, I hated that, but the ball wasn't just for our kingdom, it was all the kingdom royals. Including Ikgrir's kingdom. We would have to be careful, but so many people would be focused on their own thing, they would never even notice us together. With the plan to talk to him about it tonight, I fly off, going through the forest to our usual meeting place.

Oh yeah, sorry, that's what I meant to say that I thought you meant. If that even makes any sense.))

Ikgrir headed through the forest for their usual meeting spot. He was especially excited to speak with her today with the ball coming up soon. He wondered if they could plan something, some way to see one another during that time. Sure, neither of them were big fans of super fancy events such as this, but it might be the first chance in weeks that they would be able to see one another in actual daylight. There was nothing wrong with these nightly meeting, but it would be nice to finally see her with her glow being the only source of light. Plus, he had remembered that she mentioned she loved to dance, but he'd never seen her do so; this might be his chance to see her, though.

(( I don't know lol. I'll just have Eris see some bushes moving and discover Asher who's just trying to be a protective twin brother and see who his sister his sneaking around and meeting ))

"Hey," I say, spotting Ikgrir. I walked over to him in human size. I had been at this size the past few times when meeting him and no one had seen us, so I wasn't too worried. Still, I kept my voice at a soft tone. "How are you doing this evening, dragon?" I ask him with a smile.

(Do you want Ikgrir to hear him and Eris finds him or just have Eris see him?)

As Ikgrir saw Eris, he smiled, "I am doing well. What about you? How are you, on this fine evening?" He was glad to see her, each week seemed to last forever. Although when morning came he was always exhausted from being out so late, he wouldn't ever purposefully miss one of these meetings.

"I'm doing great, you know this is my favorite night of each week," I say to him. I decide to get right to the point, knowing that these nights always seemed to go by too quickly when I was with him. "So, the ball?" I ask him, smiling wider. "You know, I'd love to have a dance with you at the ball, if you'd like."
