Dmitri sighed, the trees above him swaying in the gentle morning breeze. He wasn't really sure about where the pack was, but just gazed at the dying red and orange fall leaves. He thought fall was one of the most beautiful times of the year. He loved it, except for the fact you'd always be stepping on crunchy leaves. So much for the element of surprise.

Anabelle kept a light step as she practically danced through the woods. The beauty of autumn was upon them and the array of colors was truly something to see. The mixtures of red, orange, yellow, and brown made the forest seem more alive during the day; kinda like a painting. As she drew further into the forest, she smiled as the colors of the fall season seemed to get more frequent and vibrant the deeper she got.

Dmitri shifted, now a large, husky wolf. He sighed, and then shook the dirt out of his fur. The wind seemed weaker now, now that he was a larger being.

He turned his head and saw a girl skipping in the forest. He walked away.

Anabelle stopped when she saw a large figure turn to walk away, He looks interesting... she thought and she, herself shifted into her large, yet slender wolf form. She shook her fur before she began to trot after the black wolf that was ahead of her. The slight breeze carried his scent back towards her and she smiled slightly.

Dmitri heard the heartbeat of the wolf behind him. It sounded light and feminine. He loped to the river. "Who's there?"

Anabelle stopped in her tracks and cocked her head at the male, "Me? I'm Anabelle." she answered simply and padded towards the other wolf, "And you are?" she asked in a soft tone and flicked her tail around.

Dmitri lowered his head, ears pinned. "Dmitri," he answered in a dark tone.
