Her heart ached to run after him and embrace him. She wanted to spend her every moment with him, but she couldn't. Of course, he needed his own space. But still, she was his mate.

"Shadow is kinda scary," Fox concluded with a nod, keeping his eyes on Rain. He was tolerant of their new leader, but not optimistic.

Fog was one of the ones who was mewling the loudest, fearfully hushed when hissed at. He cowered closely to his siblings, tiny body shaking as he tried to comprehend what was going on.

leaf saw a familiar kit. he heard constant meowing noises, but was distracted by crying noises further away. he turned and went to them, taking in New scents and sights. He saw an older cat - definitely not his mumma. He saw the other babies. - not his siblings. He stumbled, mewing gibberish to Talon, attempting to ask her where was his home.

Talon was sleeping peacefully to the soft snores of her new kittens before she was awoken by a lower-pitched gibberish noise. She looked up to see a new kit and hissed, curling around her own protectively. She sniffed the kitten and realized it was lost, but smelled nothing. Of course, her sense of smell had been damaged since she was a kit, but she beckoned the kit forward and pushed a piece of the crab she caught for the other kits towards it. She wondered if the other kit could eat solid food. "Here, little one." she meowed, looking down. Something about the four kits she had stolen made her calm and serene. They made her... happy. As a mother. But she'd never admit that.

leaf growled softly when she beckoned him closer. he sniffed the piece of crab, but attacked it instead. his gibberish meows continued until they reached a high pitched squeal. That's when Little dashed away, to find her little kit. "Leaf?" She mumbled quietly, looking at them through a hedge. Her fur raised, her lips drawing back in a snarl.

Talon chuckled as the small kit attacked the food she offered to it. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a loud snarl, but she thought it came from the kit. She tilted her head, confused, before turning to see... Little. "Of course. What do you want? Can't you just leave me alone?!" she hissed, her tail lashing back and forth as she curled protectively around the newborns.

"oh, I have come to get my kit." She hissed. "Leaf! Come here!" Little purred softly, and leaf went running to her. "And who have you got? Those tiny things. Is that a crab? Are you feeding them properly?" She meowed, sounding disgusted.
