She shook her head. "Don't get involved." She said firmly before standing up and distancing herself from him. Shannon headed out of the room, not wanting to talk.

Amber
"You should expand. Open up a downtown shop. Think of all the business you would get." She said, thinking of a spot in particular he could set up in.

I stood up following her. I said "Shannon i can and will get involved, I could've died today and I want to know what the he'll is going on. If that guy could get past a specially trained marine there's something definitely wrong."

Jared
I said "yeah but I'd have to hire more people and every time I hire someone me and Chris train them ourselves and no one ever wants to put up with it so they go find a job somewhere else."

Shannon
"That's exactly why I am not bringing you in on this. I'm not going to have anyone die on my watch. " She got to her room and began packing her things.

Amber
"What if I told you I knew someone who is looking for a job in mechanics? " She looked up at him.

I put my hand on her bah so she couldn't pack anything else and "Amber if you don't tell me right now I will get bikers involved and trust me you don't want that."

Jared
I looked at her and said "well damn, if ya do I'll train em that'll be great I could put that person and Chris at a different store and I'll stay put in the old one."

Shannon
She looked up at him. "Let me go Chris. I'm not up for any more threats right now." Her hands were still shaking from the shock but her voice was oddly calm.

Amber
"He wouldn't need much training. He has been doing it for a while now but he will need a bit of motivation. At time he can get lazy." Amber told him. She wanted to be honest with him.

I lifted my hand off the bag but I grabbed her arm lightly and looked at her calmly. I said "Shannon. If anything I learned you can't run from problems...please let me help you."

Jared
I said "well he will not be lazy around me trust me I'll get him up and working."

Shannon
"I'm not running. I'm getting out of my sisters house so she isn't in danger. They won't kill me but they will her." She said, looking up at him. She was obviously scared but was trying to hide it.

Amber
She smiled. "Good. He needs a push. I will give him a call tomorrow. "

I smiled a bit, I'm sure she thought maybe it was a little weird that I smiled in this obvious dangerous situation. I said "trust me, I know Jared and if anyone even thinks about going to near her, he won't hesitate to do something, he's a good judge of character."

Jared
I smiled and said "ya wanna head back?"

"He won't be with her 24/7. There is always a moment where she could get hurt and I am the reason why. Nowe please get out of my way." She crossed her arms.

Amber
She nodded. "Sure. We should probably get some sleep."

I said "yeah probably, I wonder if Chris and Shannon are awake still." I started to walk back to the truck.
