ahh sorry I have posted absolutely nothing since I joined!!
I saw that no one has reviewed any concerts so im gonna review one!!
in june 2016 I saw selena gomez on her revival tour.
It was overall amazing, but I didn't have very good seats so I couldn't see very well.
first, her voice was amazing! she sounded like she did on the album except better.
second, the dancing and props were amazing. there were no problems with the props at all and
there was only won part where she fell (I heard it was the only time she fell during the entire tour!)
but she recovered quickly and didn't even seem phased.
last, her interaction with the fans was really good. after every couple of songs she would ask if we were
good and she touched hands with people in the pit and god it was just amazing.
at the end they shot confetti into the crowd and it was so cool!!

on march 22nd, 2017 i saw panic! at the disco on their death of a bachelor tour. i gotta say, they certainly put on a show. brendon urie, the lead singer, had a 103 degree fever, and their bassist, dallon weekes, had been in the hospital only days before. yet they still managed to impress. they performed 21 songs, including one on a b-stage, and another in the crowd. my favorite set was probably girls/girls/boys, a stunning lgbtqa+ power anthem. a pride flag was flashed on the screen, made up of many lgbtqa+ icons. the crowd held up their flashlights, with colored paper over them so even the crowd reflected a rainbow. it was quite nice, and made me cry.
they also played an amazing cover of movin' out (anthony's song) originally by billy joel. i very much enjoyed it. if you are a fan of panic! at the disco, i would definitely recommend seeing them live. the sound is very crisp and clear, and they are loud. even for pretty far seats in an arena, it was still an insane concert. 10/10

before i fill this out, i would like to introduce myself. hello! the name's ink,
and i look forward to getting to meet yall and discussing some rad music c;
favorite artist & why usually when i think artist, i think of a soloist, but
i'm assuming bands also count in this area. honestly, i have so many, but
i'll probably narrow it down to like three otherwise i'll write a novel. :,)
the story so far is one of my favorites because they are always so upbeat !!
like if i'm angry, they're my go-to since it's vv therapeutic for me. also,
they put on such an energetic live performance; probably the best con-
certs i've been to in the past has been theirs. another would have to be
hotel books, they have some songs that can just tug on my heart strings.
i guess if i really had to choose a favorite, i'd have to say la dispute since
they've helped me through difficult times in my life and just inspired
me like no other. they've also really helped me grow as both an aspiring
musician and writer, and when jordan dreyer speaks... i can just feel
everything he says and picture it like an actual memory of mine. i know
that sounds kind of weird, but oh well. i'm even getting a tattoo of their
logo soon. cx
favorite song & why another hard one to choose! i'm torn between a few;
some come and go, while some favorites will always stay favorites. i guess
a song i've really been feeling recently is my kind of woman by mac demar-
co. just watching it with the music video is so lovely, i can't help but watch
it over and over! two songs that are my favorites that will probably stay that
way for a long time are you and i in unison and king park by la dispute. if
there was one word to describe how those songs have made me feel, it would
be SHOOK, in every sense of the word. music has never made me feel the
way those songs have, and every time i listen i feel a new sense of euphor-
ia and it just resonates with my soul. i probably sound crazy, but whatevs
favorite album & why my grandma vs pneumonia by the front bottoms is am-
azing. i love the front bottoms but this album takes the cake easily. i remember
every night of freshman year, i would replay this album and fall asleep to it. it's
aesthetic and perfectly encaptures teen angst. then - who would've guessed -
another favorite is by la dispute! i will never get sick of their third album, wildlife.
the amount of times i've listened to it is insane, and i can confidently say i will
never tire of it. every song tells its own story and it's spoken in such an eloquent
way that you can visualize every second of the album. you can literally feel the
heartbreak like it is your own and it's hard not to feel like the lead singer is speak-
ing directly to you.
favorite genre hmm, honestly, i love everything other than country, so this is a-
nother difficult question to answer! right now i would say midwest emo, emo rev-
ival, spoken word, and metalcore are all equally my favorite genres. particularly,
i love music that is honest and you can feel is genuine. i like the imperfect vocals,
the flawed sound, and it makes me love the music that much more.
favorite music news source hm, i usually don't subscribe to music sources. some-
times i'll tune in to kerrang. i usually vote and watch alternative press' music awards.
other than that, i usually don't tune into news sources since i like formulating opinions
on my own. sometimes i will look up reviews to get different takes on things if i'm int-
erested enough.
least favorite artist & why probably the sex pistols. his voice is too posh british for my
taste. i can appreciate their contribution to the movement of punk music and their in-
fluence on several modern bands though. ^^
least favorite song & why never gonna give you up by rick astley. no good reason for
disliking it. mostly because i'm salty from being rick roll'ed too many times :,)
favorite music service spotify. a lot of underground bands i love i have discovered
through their weekly playlist they make for you. so, i am grateful to them! i also consider
venues to be a music service of sorts, and i have to say my favorite venue i've been to has
been the amos southend! they have good air conditioning for such a small area and i like
how it's setup and how private it feels. c:
favorite platform? i love cds because i like to hold things, haha. i probably have
around fifty, but i plan to get more very soon. digital is of course the most practical. i
currently own no vinyls, but i plan to get a few for decoration and the aesthetic of it
since i don't own a record player.
woo! *wipes brow* i'm sorry this was so long! for future reference, i ramble a lot so don't
be surprised if i make super long posts in the future lmao

@nailbunny
ah thats rad that youre seeing them too!
i hope it goes well, they were so amazing.
g/g/b is such a powerful song, and it's def
very powerful live.
@dystopian roach
ah, thats not okay. im so so sorry that
you're having to deal with that! people
who judge someone's personality just
based on music taste bug me, a lot.
if you ever need someone, please pm
me <3
@tastes like ink.
welcome to the group!! and honestly
im very glad that you had a long intro,
those are the most fun to read!! the 1st
thing i noticed we have in common is
our love for the song my kind of woman
by mac demarco. its such, such a great
song. probably one of my favorites by
mac. the youtuber poppy covered it,
and it sounds exactly like a feminine
mac. slightly mysterious, and just
strange. i love it.
and woah man, thats a lotta cds! i
agree though, physical form is so
nice.
it was nice to meet you ink!!

favorite artist, and why; green day.
they've been my favorite band for a long time
and still are. there's a song by green day
for pretty much any mood i'm in.
favorite song, and why; walking
contradiction by green day. it's extremely
underrated and is such a good song.
"do as i say not as i do because
the ****'s so deep you can't run away
i beg to differ on the contrary
i agree with every word that you say
talk is cheap and lies are expensive
my wallet's fat and so is my head
hit and run and then i'll hit you again
i'm a smart ass but i'm playing dumb."
favorite album, and why; green
day's insomniac. the whole album in
general except for brain stew seems
really underrated.
favorite genre; punk rock.
favorite music news source [if any];
kerrang.
least favorite artist, and why; ed
sheeran. nothing against him as a person,
i just don't like the sound of his voice.
least favorite song, and why; any song
that's religious/christian, as most songs like
this make me uncomfortable.
favorite music service; spotify.
favorite platform? (records, cds, digital, etc.);
usually digital but i really like having cds.

he/him | bisexual
i have way too many interests; green day, panic! at the disco, my chemical romance,
nirvana, twenty one pilots, the beatles, frnkiero, the brobecks, all time low, fall out
boy, gerard way, slipknot, leathermouth, pearl jam, linkin park, halsey, supernatural,
stranger things, markiplier, leafyishere, onision
mike dirnt is really attractive
