Chass nodded, setting the rabbit down at Mary's feet. He followed Mary's gaze, before looking behind him. The small dog, Chance, was watching him, but then yipped and ran to the edge of the camp. Probably forgot scout duties. Chas's chuckled. He looked at the other dog, Nimbus, asking for a hunting party. Chass smirked, and looked at Star for her response. He said to her, "Yes, Star. Do we need more food? I can lead a hunt, if you'd like one." His energy was back, after that short sprint after the rabbit. He awaited Star's response.

[Boomer]

Mary gave a nod of thanks to Chass before tearing into the rabbit. She normally wouldn't be so vicious with her food, but she was famished. It didn't take long for Mary to finish off the rabbit. She got to her paws and buried the skin and bones, to keep scavengers away. "That hit the spot." she said softly, "Thank you again, Chass." The pups stopped kicking when their mother had stopped eating.

Star - Alpha of Midnight Pack

The female grew worry for the female dog, knowing she was pregnant and her pups are due any minute, was lifting another dog good for her? No, it cant be. The greyhound mix remembered when she was pregnant, remembering she could barely carry a rabbit. "Are you sure you can do this? I'm not sure this is healthy for you or your pups." She perked her head hearing another voice yet again seeing the half wolf, Nimbus. "A hunting party?" She turned her gaze to her lead hunter, Chass before she replied "Hm, we are running short, and when there is tiny mouths to feed soon, were going to need a bigger stock." She pointed her slender gaze at the food pile they had, it had half a mouse, and remains of a rabbit and vole. "Alright, a hunting party it is."

Swift - Hunter of Midnight Pack

The mention of a hunting party had went to his ears. He sat up, interested in joining. He did wanted to ask that after all. The male padded over to the german shepherd and half wolf, although was weary of Nimbus. "Hey, if your doing a hunting party, could I come with?"

Nimbus - Hunter of Midnight Pack

He looked at the female noticing her large belly. I knew she looked different.. The grey furred male turned his head to look at Swift, the alphas son, he never had much of a conversation with him, he always meant it. A hunt would be nice, it would be nice to stretch his legs and sink his teeth into something.

Chance - Scout of Midnight Pack

The small dog heard voices and looked in the direction of where it came from. At the edge of camp, she saw the Alpha, one of the newer dogs, and the shepherd male, Chass. She didn't really trust him all too well, even before the Alphas sudden death. The small dog then remembered, she has scout duty! She rushed to the edge of camp and began doing her patrol duties.

[Boomer]

"Oh, don't fret over me." said Mary softly, looking to Star, "I'm not totally useless. I'll be sure to have Henry help as well. I believe he's at the lake with Alessa, teaching her to fish." She was worried about Alessa, not because of her burns, but her ability to survive in the wild. The pup hated blood, so Mary knew she'd make a terrible hunter. Even with fishing, Alessa always had her food drained of blood before eating it. The pup lacked the courage to fight, so she'd make a terrible fighter. Mary was so wrapped up about Alessa she didn't notice her water breaking. "Oh my..." she said, a bit embarrassed, "I guess they don't want to wait around much longer."

Red was quite shocked by the alphas death. He could of done this? He wanted to find the dog who did it and give them what they deserve, a taste of their own medicine. As the loyal dog he was, he went to help out with patrol.

Cassie was scared. There was a mirderer on the loose, could she be next? Cassie had tempted to get her mind off of it by replacing the moss in everyone's dens and putting it newer and softer moss.

Chas's nodded. "Nimbus! Go get Swift, and tell him to get ready. We're going to organize a hunting party." He barked loudly. "And be quick about it!" He padded off, surveying the terrain. The woods were always a good place to go for smaller game, but the plains held deer... "And Nimbus. Are you ready enought to hunt a moose?"

"Oh my, i'll grab Henry, rush to the healers den as quick as you can." She nudged the dog to get going and saw her son Swift, the black and white male. She sprinted over to Henry and Alessa, who were fishing and wasn't affected by stamina when it was only a short distance away. "Henry, Mary is going to have puppies soon, go to the healers den, quickly!" She hoped the healer was around, she knew her healing powers, but she did wonder if she every used herbs, could she be collecting some? She didn't have much knowledge on healing powers, not many dogs do.

Swift - Hunter of Midnight Pack

He was about to turn to get him until he noticed he was already next to him. The half wolf shot his eyes to the other male at the mention of a moose, something a dog couldn't outrun, or catch, except if they had a specific power, speed. He didn't have that power, "How are we going to hunt a moose? We cant catch up to it-I cant I mean, but we wont be able to take it down, not even a calf." He knew calves were always surveyed by their mothers, and if they were to catch one, they get a blur of brown and horns charging at them. Usually wolves were able to, they had the stamina to outrun it and the numbers. Three dogs, no, two dogs and a half wolf, wont have a chance to take one down. "They'll charge us."

He took off as the pup nodded and went back to facing the water. Henry watched his mate walk towards the healer's den. "I'm fine..." insisted Mary as Henry helped her to the den. Mary sat down in the den and looked at her collection of herbs and flowers. "Let's see..." she said quietly, "Poppy seeds will work." She carefully took two and ate them, then laid down. "Is there anything I can do?" asked Henry. "No, just sit and be quiet." said Mary, stretching out. Henry nodded and hoped he wouldn't be called to go hunting.
