Obviously, please do your research before adopting a pet! You'll never know what trouble you could put yourself into!

I always liked the idea of owning insects such as millipedes or praying Mantises, especially the Orchid mantis (such a pretty lil guy).
But, in all honesty I wanna own a capybara and I'll probably see about getting one in the future if I get enough money and of course a huge house.
They're an exotic species, but people have kept them as pets. The major, and most important thing with them is that they are a semiaquatic species, and require a constant water source to swim in suck as a pool. Not to mention, they're also quite shy as well and form attachments to their owners, but they have been shown to form friendships with other animals such as dogs.
Basically, a giant Guinea pig but being semi-aquatic and requiring a lot more, specialized and different care. But they make great pets if you have the time.

If I could have any pets, they would be Pallas cats and owls. The Pallas cats would probably not work out because they're wild and live on the other side of the world, but they're so cute! However, having an owl would be possible. They live nearly everywhere (sometimes I hear them) and I've heard of people raising them.

I'm thinking about getting a fish tank with some neon tetras to start out! The thought of having fish sounds fun to me even though I know how much maintenance they tend to need. It'll be like a nice little hobby and another animal friend to keep me company

I've also always wanted one of those big albino boa constrictors. I even though of a name! Poocorn the albino boa. Since they look a lot like the popcorn flavored jelly bellies
