Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow could not help but release a purr of amusement at the sight of the tiny bundle. He had high expectations for Leaf, who was already exploring despite not being able to walk yet. Though he did have a favorite towards the little tom, Leaf was certainly getting bonus points with him. He attempted to run a brisk swipe of his tongue over her fur to groom the downy kitten fur down. The safety of the ship would protect her from any meandering birds that wanted to provoke the tiny kits. There was no large birds-of-prey common to the area, but a seagull could get quite gutsy sometimes. "Awake already?" he commented partially to himself, knowing he probably would not be completely understood yet. His tuned hearing noticed the shuffle of more tiny forms inside the surgeon's room, and he wondered if Little would awake soon. The scent of Leaf was drawing ever closer, and he ducked his head inside for a moment to catch sight of her. Her mewling, to his dismay, could wake up Little, so he strode towards her to lend as much comfort as possible. He was a bit awkward, not wishing for Rain or Fox to catch sight of him. Shadow used the tip of his tail in an attempt to draw Leaf's attention, to possibly distract her from mewling.
Unfortuntely, his attempts did not work, as soon after Little mewed her "good morning". "Hello Little, how are you feeling, love?"

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
"I will accompany you for the time being, but I will not lead. I am going to have to return to the tribe once they come looking for Spirit and me. I do not wish to be a burden." he stated with a defeated sigh, casting a mournful glance towards Spirit. The decisions he was making went against the code. It made his pelt crawl, but at the same time, he knew that he would stand a chance in a fight against any number of them if provoked. Tempest was going to keep an eye on his back, watching for any possible signs of aggression. No chances would be taken.
Tempest was surprised to hear Scatter herself mention that only a few cats could ever be justified for their doings. With actions came consequences, and he gained a partial amount of respect for her saying that. "Indeed." Tempest uttered quietly in turn.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower had been about to leave the apprentice room when she finally heard the familiar voice of Minnow. Her ears perked at the sound, curling around like little antennas. She turned towards him, plopping down on the ground where she stood to release a yawn. "Good morning, Minnow. What do you think we are going to do today?" she asked as the yawn came to a close. The tabby reached around to groom the few pieces of fur that stood up in places, only pausing to glance up at Minnow in the faint light of the apprentice room. "I feel like it is going to be really warm today,

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream lounged outside of the sailor's den, grooming her ginger and white tabby fur to a sleek shine. Her deep sea blue eyes scanned the clearing earnestly, looking forward to what the day would bring. Would Shadow go back to his duties now that the kits were born? Questions lingered in her mind, seeking answers. She paused in her grooming, soaking in the rays coming in from the wooden floor boards above.
