Kaitlin giggled, lighting the spine, and surprisingly, she enjoyed smoking it. What she enjoyed most? Was laughing with Blaze and just being in his arms. Kaitlin may not hear the end of it from her aunt, she just hoped her parents and brother would grow to love him.

Anthony was still caught up in... Whatever he was going on about. He had become silent, lost in his thoughts, though now seemed upset.

"Yeah yeah, you can wait here," Mona sighed. Taking a hold of Anthony's hair in her mouth, Mona tugged to regain Anthony's attention. When Anthony let out a loud yelp, Mona said, "You bumbling buffoon. Go call Azurine already..."

Anthony went to grab his phone and quickly dialed Azurine's number. "You need to get back here... Uh-huh. Yeah. ... Please don't yell at me, Zuri... Okay, okay." Hanging up, he looked at Caelan and said, "She'll be here in about ten minutes."

Caelan nodded and sat down. He started singing a song softly, but loud enough for Anthony and Mona to hear him.

"Thanks. And it's okay, I should have come back sooner." he took the Splatar and put it in its case before handing Anthony the payment for it. He also handed him two tickets and said "You did a great job, take some tickets to my show."

although sushi had offered a trip to a small cafe to get some desert as thanks, it seemed the plans were postponed as a new squid she wasn't quite familiar with. looking towards Anthony and his aquatic friend, sushi gave a quiet thought to how busy he must be running a business almost alone.

quietly listening as caelan sung, sushi tilted her head and politely silenced until he had finished singing. barely moments later, zuri burst down the shop door. with a pleased bubbly noise, sushi greeted her with a wide grin. "heya, zuri! didcha hear this inkling sing? he has such a cool voice! pleased to meet you, mr!" she chimed, offering a wave to caelan.

Mona would have face palmed if she could. Anthony was getting on her last nerve. "That's a bit too enthusiastic, Anthony dear."

"Who gave you permission to call me Zuri?" Azurine asked Sushi, her photophores glowing dimly. She looked at the ticket that had been given to her and shrugged. "I'll consider it. Thanks, I guess."

"And that wasn't enthusiastic enough!" Mona shouted from Anthony's hair. "You two are morons, I swear..."
