I was on a tour visiting some ruins when I got the feeling that I was being watched. Maybe there was some weird person in the group or maybe it was just my immagnation. Probably the latter, considering that the tour guide was telling a ghost story. I shook my had and focused on the guide just as he was telling the story about the ruins

"3,000 years ago these ruins still stood tall. They were in an old city, this city was peaceful most of the time. While others lived for battle this city took pride in their goods. While other kings focused on creating the biggest army the king here knew that his city would never have to fight, as long as they provided the other cities with food and good clothes. Life went on like this, the residents made clothes and shipped them out to foreign lands where they were quickly used up. One day the alarm was sounded, had the other cities decided to finally attack? Would they all be wiped out? It was something that they never could have prepared for, wild animals. They came tearing through the streets, barking commands in a foreign tounge. While the people were driving out the animals they stopped their work, meaning that other cities had stopped getting the supply of food that they depended on! They attacked, and as you guessed this city was left in ruins. From the records scientist believe that it was a species of large cats and that they are still here since. Some strange records even talk about how these creatures were used to fight and that if you look closely you can sometimes still see them dressed with warpaint covering them.

Then I looked behind me and saw one, I screamed but stopped when it started to nuzzle me. I decided to take it home.
