Sonja nodded at Rose's comment, but took Ingo's into further consideration, since she and William had been dating for a while. "You're right- let's check the pub. Then the Raven's Nest." She wasn't worried about camouflage just yet, so she left her hood down for the moment. They walked down the street in silence for a while, and then the Sabre asked Ingo, "Why did you go out with him in the first place? I mean, sure, he's in the Navy and all, but he's mean, and a drunk, too."

Milo waited for a while, then opened the trapdoor and called together his squad. "Ella, Liza, Alexa, come on. They've been gone for long enough."

Liza walked out of the trap door. "Ok lets go."

"When I first met him he wasn't like that. I was eight when I first saw him at the harbour, he was ten and we were friends for quite some time. We liked each other very much and thought it would work but then his father made him join the navy, we saw each other less and less, especially when he started drinking, but if you have loved someone for ages, you find it hard to let go, I just loved him and missed him more. Then he permitted some of my best friend's deaths and hadn't talked to me for at least a year. I snapped. I couldn't take it anymore,he was harsh and agreed to torturing. His heart of gold was gone, so yeah, he didn't start of bad." Ingo explained in great length, she said it with a touch of sadness, she wished Will hadn't gone bad, he would have grown into a very good man.

"That's awful," said Sonja quietly. She didn't really know what it was like to lose the person you loved most, and she hoped she never would. However, many of the friends she had grown up with had distanced themselves from her, becoming the perfect daughters, wearing their whalebone corsets and their white powder made of lead and beetles. Sonja had decided at a young age that this was never what she wanted to be, so she got away from it as quickly as she could. "It's almost like seeing your best friends from when you were younger grow apart, leaving you in search of more... What was the words Lizzie used? Friendships more properly suited to women of their position." The girl stopped suddenly and threw up her hood. "There's the pub- come on."

John walked around the small town. He was bored and didnt have much to do. He had heard Sonja and Rose talking about how he would take Sonja's cousin and care for him. He snorted and went to a small candy stand. He bought to bags of a sweet Irish candy, one for him and one for Rose. He walked back to the alley and sat down.

Sonja gave Ingo a signal to hide in a dark alley nearby, and she gestured at Rose to stay where she was. Then the Sabre put down her hood and strolled nonchalantly into the pub, giving the dim, smoky room a once-over to see if William was there. She didn't see him, but she couldn't just leave without giving rise to suspicion.

Ingo scampered into the alleyway, her mouth was covered by a hand and a knife put to her throat, she tried to squirm away but the knife was pressed further. Ingo's eyes flashed with fear, she breathed through her nose, scared of what might happen, "You're going to be commin in very handy young lady" A rough voice said, it definately wasn't William's that was for sure but she didn't know who's it was.

John stood up as he saw a guy attacking Ingo. He took a knife out of his pocket and hit the guy with the hilt of it. The guy fell over, unconcious. "You alright?" He asked.

Ingo nodded, she turned to look at the guy, he wasn't William but there was something eerily similiar about thos efeatures which she couldn't put her finger on. "Thanks" she said finally calming down.
