My biggest pet peeve is when people write with no punctuation. I sit there and try to decifer it, but it makes no sense.
I never realized how much I love commas, periods, and quotation marks.
My second is overuse of smilies. It's to the point where I don't use them anymore. At all.
Now I can't stop mentally correcting people's mistakes.
