@Ploegy,
Your signature is adorable! Who is the artist?

I told myself I'm not buying a switch until they release Mother 3 on it. Although, my cousin bought BOTW and I'm dying to watch him play it...He didn't get to the switch preorders in time so we just have BOTW sitting on top of the television. Mocking us.

Based on what I've seen in videos online, the Nintendo Switch hasn't even been out long and it's already crashing. People's games have crashed multiple times, if you put the side controllers in with the wrong one, their impossible to get back out, and worst of all, when you're switching from mobile to console, putting it in the console dock scratches the screen. This is giving me second thoughts on the system, although I REALLY want to play Splatoon 2...

^ As in all console launches, there are always a few bad ones. The people who have gotten a hold of the buggy ones seem to be very vocal. But for me and the others I know who have one, they're fine. Mine has been working properly, and I wouldn't let a few negative reviews change your opinion. It's a nice console and BOTW is just amazing.

i just saw some of those recently and it's pretty bad, but i wouldn't let it turn me away completely from the system. considering it only just came out and the people who have that happening to them got it on launch day, meaning there wasn't much time for all the issues to be worked out. it happens to most consoles when you get them the day they come out because they rush to get it out to the public before testing
plus, i've seen a lot of people with the console already who absolutely love it and didn't have problems at all
i'm sure by the time splatoon 2 comes out (which is when i'll be getting it most likely) it'll have less issues hopefully!

also, i got breath of the wild for my wii u when it came out and i'm loving it so far! the open world aspect of it is amazing and i can't stop playing it omg

Yeah don't worry on it kracken! I've experienced absolutely 0 issues with mine?
Aside from a minor lag when My elaborate botw plans involve too many explosions.
When companies release things to the public they're still in testing (windows10 for example) the company needs to release it for it to be tested on mass so they can find any remaining issues and sort them faster.

It's early days just yet. The minority that are having issues just shout the loudest as is always the issue.
The xbox 360 had 'red ring' epidemics like crazy but it still worked out fine eventually.

How is everyone's experience with the Switch so far? If you don't own one right now what is something your curious about that you've been watching in videos or your friends play?

I Have pretty much nothing but good things to say about the Switch actually,
It's a lot lighter than the WiiU so my arms don't ache after a long play session (I'm very weed-y)
It's got a super user friendly system and I think the new mii customization is pretty darn cool
I plan to buy MK8: Deluxe later in the year!

you can PM me for my friend code anytime.

I want to get the switch but I really want to wait till more games come out, I didn't my Wii u till like.. 2015 so a few years after it came out. It might happen the same. Plus I just bought a PS4 so I can't buy any new consoles (if I had known about the switch before I would have actually pre ordered it and stuff)

I don't have my own Switch, but one of my good friends was able to get one and he had let me play it a bit. I must say it plays really nice and as Saxhleel said, it just much lighter than the Wii U gamepad. I also thought that the joy cons would feel really small when using them, but the size doesn't really bother me all too much which is nice
