Hello shad ! No worries on not getting the line art in time c: Everyone is a bit busy. Thanks to my free day today I was able to complete 3 doggos ^^ The bunnies and the leprechaun. I woke up bright and early to practice on my markings so hopefully that time payed off c: If there's anything off about them let me know so I can learn from it and fix it.

I hope you like what I've come up with Lace ~ I used both eye styles to make 2 different bunnies. I didn't want to mess with the egg to much but I did switch up the colors a bit ^^ For some reason my doggos always come out so tiny c': Any thoughts on fixing that ? I was debating on if I should put a water mark on top of it since your initials are already by the foot so I just left it as is. I can take it down if you suggest that.

Since everybody is making easter doggos..



This little pupper wanted to dress up as a chick to celebrate easter
Her costume is obviously handmade with lots of tape and socks :>

Aside from that, she was so much fun to make! Simpler designs with detail are my strong-suit, so I can make more if the need arises for an easter litter. I don't have an offical name, but they are "Mocking" chickens, you could call them mockingbirds, but I don't feel the need for a pun to be the offical name.
Anyway, she's adorable.

Orbitz your doggo is so cute ^^ I never thought of that so props for being the first on making it. I find the smile on the beak very cute and fitting. Really neat job on it c: If I may ask, how did you make the background transparent ? Whenever I post doggos it comes out with the white background ^^' How long did this take by the way ?

Took around 3 hours to make, with breaks.

For the background? In my drawing program I have the choice of converting the image into PNG's, as long as the image is on one layer,
I get a checklist ( Looks like this ) that asks if I want it transparent or 24-bit. Not sure what 24-bit does, but I know transparent makes all white turn transparent. The program I use is FireAlpaca, It's free and great for drawing!

I use ezimba to make my images transparent because I don't have anything fancy or the know-how x)
The only problem with that is my background has to be a different color.

And yes, fortunately my SO surprised me with a weekend trip for our anniversary, unfortunately I haven't completed my monthly adopt. x)

Love the lines you make Orbitz, however, the way that the mask curves makes it look like it dressed up as a duck to me, maybe if it were a bit more of a "v" shape? But dressing up as a duckling is cute too! I like it still c:

Going to have to take another few days break, possibly longer. Sickness is getting really bad and I'm struggling to eat and drink, so my energy is next to nothing.

@Fox love the three doggos you've come up with so far. The middle one is definitely my favourite. The colours and markings are so cute. There's a way you can colour those black lines on the third one quickly, if you wanted to make them coloured like the greens you've used. I'm happy to tell you how.

@Orbitz Super cute design, and I agree with others, it's very unique. Would love to see more types like it, perhaps for the same litter? Adding onto what Shad said, I would recommend you darken the lines. It's something a friend told me about years ago when I first started pixeling, and it's helped a great deal. That way it doesn't look as white washed.

-- For transparency it's quite easy, depending on what program you use. I use GIMP currently, but have used quite a few in the past. If you could tell us the program you use it'll make it easier for us to help. ^ ^
Also, 24 bit simply means you can only use the basic 24 colours, meaning you won't be able to use a lot of colours or use transparency in any way.

Okay, so I'm thinking of posting rules for the submission contest at the same time that I add my monthly litter.

Any suggestions on guidelines or rules for this contest?
So far I'm thinking no text-based submissions, that any form of art is allowed (So Oekaki, pen + paper, digital, etc.), and the only other thing I can think of is no plagiarism. So no copying from another artist, or not doing something like, say, creating a specific character's item that they're well known for.

Easter isn't 'till April 16th, so we've got some time yet c:

St. Patty's is coming up, though, the 17th I believe?
So that'll be the time we'll need all the help we can get.
