Bawobats was originally created by q1q2q3q4 on Friday July 29th, 2016.
On the September 12th 2016, Box. created new lines for Bawobats.
These later became the Dawf Bawobats on October 1st, 2016.
On October 15th the first Bawobats event started. It introduced a new type of Bawobat -the Subterranean Bawobats.
On Sunday November 20th 2016, Bawobats v1 was closed.
Because v1 was closed, there was no 2016 Christmas event.
On Saturday February 4th 2017, Bawobats v2 was posted, but it was a huge wip.
Because v1 was closed and v2 was no-where near completion, there was no 2017 Valentines, Easter or Halloween events.
Biome Bawobats were added during the planning for v2.
The original v2 never opened.
v2 was officially abandoned on November 14th 2017.
Planning for v2.1 begun on the same day.
Ideas for a sister adopt, Pawobats also begun that day.
Work on the v2 genetics continued, to make the arrival of v2.1 quicker.

Bawobat Names Origin:
The name 'Bawobat' originally came from The words Paw-O-Bat. 'Paw' because bawobats have paws, bat because they have some bat-like features. 'O' was just used to join the two words together. 'Pawobats' were going to be the name or this species, but the changed p to a b because it sounded better for some reason.

'Subterranean', as in 'Subterranean Bawobats', came directly form the word subterranean, meaning existing or being under the earth's surface.

'Dawf', as in 'Dawf Bawobats', comes from the word 'dwarf', because Dawf bawobats are smaller than regular bawobats. 'Dawf' is a deliberate misspelling of the word dwarf and is pronounced the same way.

'Biome', as in 'Biome Bawobats', comes directly from the word 'Biome', a major habitat, such as a forest or tundra.

Bans:

Who gives strikes/bans?
Only the owner of bawobats can give strike and bans. However, if a bawobats mod has found someone breaking the bawobats rules, they can pm the owner about it, with a link to the problem.

What happens if you get banned?
If you somehow manage to get yourself banned, then any Bawobats you owned will be taken and put up for re-adoption by the owner. All bawobat items the banned user owns will also be taken and raffled off.

To get banned you must have broken the rules multiple times, though this varies from case to case.

What happens if you get a strike?
If you get a strike, nothing really happens, it's just a warning system. If you get multiple strikes you may not be able to enter for any Bawobats for an amount of time. Keep in mind that if you get enough strikes you'll get banned and there isn't a way to redeem yourself from a strike. We understand that everyone makes mistakes, so obviously, this sort of thing varies from case to case.
