Solloby made many, many litters with splits already, so it's a fair assumption.
The caterpillar design makes me think that three outcomes are likely due to the colours, though. It'd be one for each.

Nope, all 5+ day old ones are in cocoons now. There are three different cocoons so far.

You actually made me go and check lol Solloby's only made 6 monthly litters ever that had splits, and two of those were in January 2009 xD; I don't feel like checking events...

Artists/anyone who made a pet ever, sorted by number of litters containing splits. I had a bit of trouble telling what counts and what not on occasion. I did count litters where there were multiple newborn stages if at least one of them split into multiple outcomes. I did not count them if the other newborn immediately turned PPS. I didn't double-check, so if I miscounted, rip.
And that's not taking into account how many litters each made in total, though yknow... I have free time...

A split growth is what happens when multiple outcomes share a previous growth stage. Like for example, these:

See how there are three puppy stages, but each of them turned into multiple different adults? That's a split^^
Compare it to here, where there are multiple puppies that look the same, but grew on different days:

Those would not be considered splits, because you could tell they were different pets by the day they grew on. (But stuff like this is why many of us like to label their pets, haha.)

Alright, maybe I overestimated myself, I don't have the stamina to count every artist's litter ever.
But here's the "top 5".

- Only counted litters with second stage splits this time. Meaning the pet had to grow at least once before splitting. No newborn splits, including species that naturally don't have second stages (rats, hamsters etc). Unless the artist added extra stages that then split.
- A "litter" is everything in the archive that's clustered into one "package". I did an extra count for growing vs single-stage pets.

sketchi made 122 litters, out of which 75 were growing litters. There are 21 split litters.
Equimagine made 47 litters, out of which 43 were growing litters. There are 21 split litters.
Tyr made 160 litters, out of which 91 were growing litters. There are 12 split litters.
Solloby made 77 litters, out of which 48 were growing litters. There are 9 split litters.
Berkshire made 63 litters, out of which 33 were growing litters. There are 9 split litters.
Lilian made 66 litters, out of which 29 were growing litters. There are 9 split litters.
Shima made 51 litters, out of which 45 were growing litters. There are 8 split litters.

Conclusion: Equimagine was our most split-happy artist so far, making close to half of her litters split.
Edit: sketchi's split litter count may be 22 because I forgot whether or not I decided to count these rats

also this display is just like the froggy rat's display lol I'm guessing our poor archivist(s) decides what to do with splits on a case-by-case basis, and we're stuck with the inconsistency xD
