@OrbitzSpaze It looks gorgeous so far! Brilliant idea too. I had a similar one about a week back, but trees are not something I've ever been good at. I look forward to seeing it once it's complete.

I would suggest toning down the pink colour, make it a little less bright and saturated, or increase the colours of everything else in the image. As at the moment, and especially the tree trunk, the difference in tones is a bit too strong.

i hope it's alright to fill out an application to become an artist! i just saw on the front page that it was open, so i think i can enter? i don't know, aha.

strengths ;; color scheme and pallets, anything in a cute (or chibi) style, almost any accessory, and making puppies fluffier!
weaknesses ;; complex designs, using bright colors, and anything involving some level of realism or high detail.
have you made customs before? ;; i have, but the last ones i made were in 2015. however, i do gift my friends characters and i always redesign my own!
art examples ;; you can check my instagram for lots of my art, old and new! you may have to scroll down to find digital art, as i recently did an ask segment traditionally, and they were comprised of ten second drawings. if you need any more pieces of artwork, i'd be glad to pm some!
if by examples, you meant base edits, i can doodle some quickly.
what do you use to draw? ;; i use medibang paint pro, ms paint, or art studio! i either work on a computer with a mouse or an ipad with my fingers.
how often could you create doggos? ;; it depends on how busy i am, but i normally have at least one day a week where i can sit down and draw on a digital program.
permanent or temporary artist? ;; i'd prefer being a permanent one, but either one is fine! it's up to you, and i'm happy with whatever you choose. even if it's none.

Hello shad ^^ I see you wanted a leprechaun doggo for St. Patricks Day so I went and gave it a try. I just made a multi- colored outline so if there's something you dislike about it I can give it a quick fix. Though if you already have a leprechaun doggo ready then simply ignore this ^^' I was thinking of giving him a beard but I'm not to sure if it'd would like right. I'll add color to his fur of course so he won't be so blank c: Though for now what do you think of it?

Finished the bunny line art. If anyone on the current team would like the line art, please reply here and I'll send you it through mail. I currently have the file in both png and xcf format. If you'd like any other type, please specify and I'll convert it.

Also been working a little more on the owl line art, but still have a bit to go. I am struggling with the markings when I did try to attempt it. Is anyone good at markings who could assist me?



@Graceful Fox -- Brilliant lines, especially the hat. I would never have thought to do it at that angle. The belt buckle is a nice touch too.

Ah thank you LaceWhiskey ^^ I'm honored you like it. Wow your bunny doggo came out really good ! The lines are very neat and clean. I'm glad the egg was kept there. Looking at the finished product it really gives off the eastery feel. I'd love to color one in if I may ^^ I like the style you have when you're making eyes. Really unique c:

Speaking of bunnies I finished the test PPS lineart I said I was gonna give a try at. I added a signature too like Lace did so no one could steal it. I have another bunny in the works though I'll keep it on the side so other artists can make their own baby bunnies ^^ The markings are a test just to give it some extra feel and color. What do you guys think of it ?

@Graceful Fox -- I've sent over the link. ^ ^ I'm ever so happy you'd like to use it and I cannot wait to see what you come up with! Both files contain three different types of eyes, as well as both egg types for you to mess around with, if you don't feel like creating your own. Please do leave the signature in though.

Absolutely stunning bunny yourself! I hope it becomes official as you can tell you've put a lot of effort into creating it. As for the markings, I think they really suit, and should even be the default of the baby bunny. I mean, it's adorable. * ^ *

I hope you don't mind, I did clean up the lines a little so it would be easier for us to pixel. You don't have to use them, and I hope I didn't insult you by doing it. Thought it may be helpful. I've included the lines with the link I sent you. Again, including a watermark over it so no one steals your lines.

Ah I have no problem that you've cleaned up the lines Lace ^^ I think it looks good the way you patched it up with the cute little nose. I'll definitely be using the lines. I'm really glad you like the lil' bunny and the markings <3 I'm starting to work towards making each pet I make special with fur work like shad advised me too. Baby steps for now >//<

Thank you for adding the watermark as well c: Though if I may ask, how'd you get it like that ? I assume my attempt wasn't very effective if you were able to clean it off and add another.

Thank you for sending the lines =^^= I can't wait to start decorating it. I already have ideas for the designs to make it look festive. It'll be a good opportunity to practice with markings since bunnies aren't always a straight color. I have a free day tomorrow so I'm gonna spend most of my time on them and giving them detail. Hopefully it's something you could look forward to seeing. Shall I send it to you via PM when it's done or should I post it here ? Might be a silly question ^^'

Bit of a late reply, I've been throwing up for the last hour. > - < Life is cruel sometimes.

@Fox I'm so happy you weren't offended, I was debating even posting it. Didn't take me too long to do it, about a ten minute job, which I'm glad about. Ah the nose! I'm glad you like it. Wasn't too sure of it myself, but you're free to edit and change anything.It is your design after all. Ah what type of markings are you working on? That's one of my weak points too. That and shading.

It would have been effective I assume to others, but throughout my teenage years I did a lot of editing so it was easier for me to clean it up. That and of course I had to resize it and pixel over it, so the mark didn't really make much of a difference in difficulty. I'd suggest a bigger watermark (Not like the one I used - that was something quick and can make the image look super terrible), and just tone down the transparency.

Can't wait to see what you do with the lines too. It's really exciting. ^ -^ Hope your free day tomorrow goes well so you're able to relax and just draw. Definitely! I'd love to see them. It's up to you really how you do it. My Inbox is generally full though. Shad could tell you that, aha. I always have to delete a mail to receive one. I think what we need is a private forum to post images on before they get posted on the thread, but unsure how we could get that to work.

Ah that's terrible ;u; Hope you feel better. I always hate it when I have to rush to the bathroom. I'm usually open minded about edits as I always have the original saved on my laptop. So even if I dislike the edits I can simply open the original and let the other artists have fun with their edits if they so wish. Besides, line edits help me learn on different styles I could add on the next drawing ^^

I'll keep the bigger signature in mind as well ^^ I see when you put yours down it's always near multiple lines like the feet for example. I assume that's to make it harder to clean out and edit back together ? I'll start doing that ^^

The markings I plan on making are similar to the ones below. If it gets to difficult I'll tone it down a bit but I won't give up so easily. I have all day after all c;

A private server would be a handy thing. Especially for other Artists who want to show their adoptable to staff before having it seen by anyone else. It also could help with lessening the chance of stolen art. The idea of watermarking is effective but it does take a bit of power out of a fully colored and shaded drawing when it has to be placed on top multiple times.
