Wow thats... possibly the most depressing news I've heard yet, actually. Especially considering that I don';t know any tourists, nor is the place I live a tourist destination...

Well, goodbye my dreams of catching them all. It was good while it lasted.

Yeah it's still sad that regionals exist at all and we have to be rich enough to travel or magically find a tourist.

I do feel it's better than spoofers handing out multiple perfect IV dragonites to whoever wants one, but it's no solid solution to having a 100% international dex.

All I ever catch here is Chikorita really.. I sometimes may see some Totodile on my sightings, but I only got a few from Disney.. well at least I got my starter from Silver, Chikorita

Kind of like how Ekans is rare in Europe and common in Australia.

Well, Ekans for my town is pretty uncommon. DX
Not all over the place but I already evolved it 3-4 times already.

I also only caught Chikorita two times, but have never even seen the others nearby. Nobody else I know here has anything except Chikorita.

Same here. But I would think that California being a dry state, there would be more cyndaquil
