I know I'm not '09 but I wanted to mention how simple trading was before the lists were made! Sometimes I look back on my old trades from '10 and I just think about how some of those trade would have never happened now. I got gifted a Cerberus back then and me not knowing what I had traded it away. If I knew the list pets were gonna be a thing I would've never gave it away. It was just easier to trade and everyone was friends, people didn't get overly angry at an unfair trade and people didn't go around blocking everyone over a trade

oooh i remember adopting the ur banana for christmas in '08 and then giving it to my friend. i got so upset when i learned she traded it for the ur cat (back when they were actually getting decent trades) because i wanted her to keep it like how i kept her pets :') i don't really care as much anymore; she gave me a tess moon dog (with some other pets) and i love it a lot <3

does anyone remember spamming the 'adopt me!' button so that they could quickly adopt to the limit? i named my pets something like 'holy beauty' or 'name me anything you want' and spammed that button 12 times, and got 12 pets that were all 'name me anything you want's hahaha.

for the less-oldies: remember when the raven was far less in demand?
