Diary Entry #27, February 14, 2000.Today is Valentine's Day. I've been planning this for months. Aya was my first crush when I first went to this college, and now we're dating. We've been dating for two years, and I want to surprise her. I have everything ready. The gift, the necklace, the bracelet, the cupcake, the chocolates, and the cookie. I texted her, saying that I was going somewhere she might like. She said she can come, and that made me excited. I quickly put on my sweater, it was a bit too big, but I didn't care. I then put on my mittens, scarf, and hat. I grabbed everything I needed. Right as I was going through the door, I remembered something. The box. The box I was going to use for a proposal. I put everything down and began looking for the box. I found it in between two shelves. I quickly snatched it, along with everything else. I began running to the place I invited Aya. When I got there, she wasn't here. I waited for her to come. I waited until I saw her beautiful golden hair. I handed her the gifts. She put her hands over her mouth in surprise, and said, "Ash..!" I smiled. This wasn't the right moment yet. She hugged me, but I pushed her away gently. I then got on one knee, and held out the small, grey box.
It was the best day of our lives.
