Zipper was walking down the streets like she usually does, searching for food of any type. Zipper hadn't eaten after she had woken up, so she was starving and ready to scavenge for anything whether it be small animal, thrown out food, or anything. While wandering around, she looked back and forth for any sign off other dogs. She had heard of other gangs around the place before, and at the time, she wasn't sure when or if they would jump out at her, so she was always on the look out.

I strode past another dog, not think much of it as she seemed much less of a threat then a bigger dog would. I sniffed through the bracken and dirtied objects. Thrashing through the trench of sweltering scents of slosh and residue of food.I picked out rags and ran it through the puddles from the down-pour.I picked scraps of stuffing on the way, and looked for signs of food as well.

Mary woke up at dawn, per usual for her. She rose to her paws and looked at the others sleeping in the alley. She decided to leave to get some breakfast for everyone. I gradually walked quicker, turning to a trot, i arrived home to the Valley. She sat on the porch and pawed at the door. The portly man opened the door and patted Mary on her head. He left and returned with some meat; it wasn't rotten or sour, it was just past the sell date.
