Ashstar gave his bestfriend a lick on the ear.he wrapped his tail around him and smiled

Galepaw smiled to see Ashstar with an old friend. in fact, she had never seen Ashstar smile.

Ashstar looked at his friend"why did you go to the dark forest?"he asked darkclaw

Galepaw froze. The words "Dark Forest" sent shivers down Galepaw's spine. Was their leader part of the dark forest like his friend?

[Vigoroth]

"I dunno"darkclaw mewed"im not like them but ive made some friends there"
"Why did you have to die.."ashstar mumbled beginning to cry.
"Hey..hey!"darkclaw went up to his friend and pressed his shadowy pelt to his friend

A growl rumbled deep in Galepaw's throat. "How could he be talking to a dark forest cat?" she thought, almost saying it aloud.

[hummxs]

Barkpelt used his tail to guide Galepaw's eyes back to him. "That shadow with him is a demon from the Dark Forest. He did a horrible deed to go there." He glanced at Ashstar. "Ashstar lost faith because of that wretched thing."

ashstar got a rabbit from the prey pile for himself,then he lay down again.his wounds were healing but he still was quite weak

Orangebird saw him and mumbled ''I hope he's okay

Another shadowy figure appeared,but it was a starclan warrior.it touched noses with ashstar and darkclaw.it was bonestar.
