What I'm looking for in a partner
- Please be semi-literate to literate.
I'm used to writing larger amounts, and I would prefer to continue doing so.
If you are having trouble keeping up, just let me know; I do ask for a minimum
of two paragraphs or one large one, but I understand that everyone has days
in which they can't really do that either.
- Please respond to messages I send you, if I choose to send them.
I don't always talk to my partners out of character and tend to just match their
preference, but if I do send you a private message or something out of character,
please give it a look and an answer.
- Please be ready to talk about ideas and plots, without leaving the legwork
all to me.
I'm not going to make you come up with each idea, plot device, twist, or turn,
but I'm not interested in doing it all myself, either. The story is most fun when
both people involved participate in crafting it, in my opinion.
- Understand that I am an adult with a full-time job.
I am not going to prioritize our roleplay over my real life. That being said, I'm
not going to disappear and never return; if you're willing to wait, you will always
eventually get a response from me, or at least a message explaining that I have
to drop our thread.
- Be willing to roleplay two characters at a time, as well as GLBT+ characters.
My characters don't tend to fit the norm of most original characters: I have several
older characters (35+) whom I roleplay quite frequently, and the majority are not
cisgender or heterosexual, likely because I'm not either.

A little more about me
(Not something you have to read, but it's here if you'd like to)
I'm fine with romance in roleplays. I'm even fine with that being the main plot.
That being said, please don't ask me to write with you unless you're willing to share the
spotlight. My character will not always be the savior, the strong and steady one, or the
(for lack of better word) "dominant" one in the relationship. Likewise, mine won't always
need to be saved, won't always be hurt, and won't always need to lean on yours for
whatever reason.
Before I start writing, I like to talk with my partner and figure out what it is that's going
to take place. I'm not saying I need to suss out every little detail before writing it, I just
usually have more fun with plotted roleplays than those which are done completely on
the fly.
Please understand that I am an adult and have a full-time job. I'm not going to
devote every bit of my free time here, especially when I've got a social life, responsibilities,
and even other websites I enjoy frequenting. I'm not going to randomly up and disappear
forever, but there may be relatively long periods of time in which I can't be around -- if
you're uncomfortable with that or don't want to have to wait for a reply, I may not be the
best fit for you.
I'm fine with a lot of things that some people wouldn't be as fine with (ex. batfamily ships).
My ships within fandom are numerous, and I'd love to talk with you about any of them, or
about fandom itself. Never be afraid of hitting me up about a quirky or downright weird
idea that you've had, or some wanted ship that you've been otherwise afraid to ask about.
I'm not going to freak out on you, and the worst that will happen is I might tell you I'm just
not interested in that particular thing.
I'm always up for multiple threads with the same or different people, and I would love to
hear any ideas or interests someone may have, whether they are on my list of interests or
not. It's not an end-all be-all list, it's just the things I thought of off of the top of my head,
and I'm sure I'd love things I didn't think of in the moment of creating this post. Don't be shy,
come and talk to me.
One final note: I know that I'm new on this website, but the truth is, I had an account that I
deleted a while back. On that account, I roleplayed quite frequently, until I moved and was
going to be without internet for long enough that I decided it was best to say goodbye for a
while, and restart once I was next able to. That time has arrived it seems. If any of you
prefer being able to look at references, please feel free to ask me for some. I write on other
websites, namely tumblr, and would be more than happy to give you some reference posts,
or a link to my tumblr account (a Jason Todd roleplay blog).
Thank you for reading this, and for your interest. I hope to hear from you.
