Daisyfang was already a distance away. He heard Nettletuft's voice but didn't catch that she was actually speaking to him and not Duskfrost so he just kept going. He preferred hunting alone anyways so splitting up did not bother him at all. He was moving away from the border as he assumed that strong cat scent from border markers would make prey less likely to hang around. Sure, there might be some around the border but he would rather go deeper into the territory where his chances of finding something might be a little better.

Poppypaw shrank back slightly, head lowered to show Minkflower respect. A tiny nod and a "yes ma'am" told her mentor that she understood, although it certainly wasn't a promise. Poppypaw was interested by the twolegs! She wanted to know more than the scary stories the elders told!

Swanflower exited the nursery, glancing around until she spotted one of the cats she was looking for. "Minnowtail." The queen meowed while trotting towards the tom so that hopefully she would get his attention. Her daughter was currently fast asleep inside the nursery which gave her the opportunity to talk to Minnowtail without having to worry about watching her.

"huh. seems like daisyfang left.." she trailed off. even though she was crushing on duskfrost,
she cared for her clansmates, and wanted to be good friends with daisyfang, but he left already.

Daisyfang eventually slowed to a stop so that he could stand still and part his jaws to taste the air. Prey scents hit him almost instantly but everything seemed stale, meaning it was unlikely that the animals would still be around. He gave a soft sigh of disappointment and continued to move on to try someplace even further away from the others.
