got my 1500th dwarf hamster from the pound just now! c: I love getting hoard pets from the pound, because the vast majority of my hoards are common and below and are mostly unwanted ;n;

So I just have a random question, for those of you who cap hoards at a certain number, do you try to get an even mix of each outcome, or do you just get as many of the set as you can without really counting the amount of each specific pet?

It depends on what type of hoard I'm making, to be honest. If it includes rare+ pets and there's two+ outcomes, then I want an even number of each. For regular hoards of uncommon and under, I don't really care if the numbers are even. I'll try not to get too many of the most common outcome (because then the hoard would be too boring to look at) but other than that I don't count each and every pet I get for those types of hoards.

... and I finished my last monthly hoard, before the month is over. For some reason that always makes me happier. I know that the pets are likely easier to get once the month is over & rarities are out , but I feel more ... accomplished(?) Getting them done earlier. I dunno, I'm just weird.

Okay! Thanks all for answering <3 I was just curious; my typical method is to hoard around 20 of each outcome, which has led to some hoards being up to 100 strong X3 But for uncommon+ or popular litters, I tend to do 10 or even just five of each if they're difficult to obtain.

And congrats! Yeah, getting a hoard done quickly does feel rather nice ^.^ My Xtreme Pomf hoard is only two away from being complete, and I just started it this month X3 Granted, the pets are from 2015, but still ^.^;

Usually I feel it's more practical to get the pets before the rarities are out because I mostly trade commons for them. So if any of them turn out to be uncommons, well then I got it for an underpay c:

but that also goes the other way, so if it was very common and I payed a common I would've overpayed
