"Thanks,it's really neat how you can control light,too."replied Ocean. She laid down on a soft patch of grass and closed her eyes almost all the way.

Angel nodded and laid down close by, "but what good can that do? blind my enemies?" she joked

"Maybe" Ocean laughed. "So,where did you come from? Were you in a wild horse herd once?" As she talked to Angel she pulled a lose feather off of her wings.

Angel nodded, "originally our mother was a show horse and didn't have a horn or wings, just normal. But she ran away with our father who was a wild unicorn and she joined his herd. Our father was caught shrtly after we were born and our herd was being captured so our mother urged us to run away, so we did." she explained and felt tears spring to her eyes when she spoke about her mother.

"I'm sorry" said Ocean. "Maybe you will find your parents again some day." She sadly remembered her own mother,and sighed.

Angel shook her head, "our father has died, and maybe someday we can break our mother free from the humans. What about you? Where did you come from?"

"I was was born into a normal herd of wild horses." Said Ocean. "My mother was a pegasus,my father was a normal stallion. When I was one year old a human spotted me,and of course when the men found out about me they all wanted me. One day I ran right up to the men and led them away from my family. I never went back so that they would leave my family alone, I didn't want them finding out my mother was also a pegasus." She paused,then went on. "They chased me for days until they finally gave up. I've been on my own ever since."

Angel nodded, "I'm so sorry, maybe one day you'll find your herd once again." she said and closed her eyes, drifting to sleep in the soft grass.
