But they would be worth more, so you'd see more UFT or UFA. If it were common/very common people wouldn't really notice them, however if it's rare, people will stop to look at it and really see it's details. People don't do that with common/very common pets. It's sad, but it's the truth.

No, that's not really true. If you check the "fun ways to use items" and "CS pet pairs" threads, they are based on appearance and not on rarity.

How about Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis? They could use the bob-tail lineart for that one, as well as design a new tail that would fit the Cardigan version.

As far as colors, they could stick to the natural coat colors like: Tan and white, black and white, black tri, etc. And some of the Cardigans could have blue eyes, or mixed of brown and blue. ^^

I think it would be a neat idea if you ask me. ^^ Just a thought.

What if we had that, but on dogs? One could start out covered in rainbow scales, then every other outcome could have less and less rainbow scales, until finally there's a dog with only one rainbow scale left?

I dunno how exactly I thought of this, but I think it would look pretty cool [:
