This will be the last fair trade thread as you know it!

The new thread will be staff owned, a new name, a new lay out and more importantly, new rules! Please be sure to read them all over BEFORE posting on them.

This is something ive been working on with staff for a really long time! (Actually over a year of discussing with several staff members!) and in the end staff decided that owning it was the only way to solve a lot of the fair trad threads issues. I encourage anyone using this thread, helping out or asking questions, to please follow the new rules, dont push demand and i think together we can hopefully calm down the greedy nature of trading and go back to having a fun game c:!!

Just wanted to clearly add that i took the first step in this. Nobody is taking the ftt from me. Ive owned this thread with much pleasure for many years (since... 2013 probably?) and will continue to own my many other guides and threads. This baby just needs more attention from staff and having it staff owned will be better for it!

As a normal member there is only so much i can do (pm people doesnt always work, reporting isnt always fast) so staff taking over (finally!) is a great thing! Hopefully we can continue to use it the way we've always used it! Remember that helping others is only helpful if you known rarities! If you just try to help out but dont know you can actually cause more harm then do good so remember that :D

So finally, this will be the last thread im owning! (Yes i will still make the next thread at 900 pages and have it changed to staff :D)

It was my pleasure and im thankful for the time ive been able to help others using this thread. Now, i can focus more on my other threads and Of course, my pm's will still be open for any questions you might have! I just wont be owning the thread nor remaking it every time anymore!

Before posting your trade, please make sure you are using the correct URL. It makes this thread more organized, less busy, and simpler if you post the correct URL.
If you don’t know how to get the correct URL, here’s how you get it:

1) Go to the trade you wish to post, and view it.
2) Look for where it says Viewing a trade offer which you received/sent and find the words that look like this: [share trade]. Click on that.
3) A page with a short paragraph and white box with a URL should show up.
4) Copy the URL from the white box and paste it into your post.
5) Highlight the URL and click the underlined URL button on the dock above your writing space

Face value isn't always the case, the UR cats's even the OMG are still rated lower then a VR (Dogtag) so a rating of OMG doesn't automatically make it the "most valued"

Just like a '10 VR isn't Equal to an '08 VR.

I'm just stating not ALL rarity are created equal, please keep that in mind when giving advice.

If you are unsure of rarities, don't post. It's taken me months to get where I am. Rarities are not a simple math equation. It doesn't work like that. This thread has been getting more and more people who don't know about rarities posting in it like they do. Have enough respect for the people posting to not post and lead them astray if you DO NOT KNOW. If others who are knowledgeable in rarities have told you you need to learn them better, do that. It is not fair to give other people bad advice just because you think you know. It creates an even tougher job for the people who do know their rarities because they are constantly backtracking and fixing mistakes.

People are basing important trading decisions on your advice. People have been ripped off and led astray by others giving bad advice. It's giving people who do know their rarities more work because we have to back track and fix mistakes. Very rares do not equal two rares. Rarities don't work like that.

Please note that this is not directed at any particular person but a collective group of people who are posting bad advice. More and more people are getting ripped off and it's not fair.

When someone is giving out bad advice please send a help ticket to staff about it. If someone is breaking thread rules (Double posting/spamming and the like) report the post by using the (!) triangle button.

Four 2009 Rares are equal to about two 2008 Rares, which is equal to one 2008 Very Rare, so I personally would say this is fair^^

Actually a 2008 vr is only worth 2 09 rares and a 10' rare unless on the rares list.
4 09 rares is a tier 2 advent list pet. The rat isn't a list

The second one I'd accept the overpay with the sunbavk alone! The sunbavk is worth about 5-6 nons which is a Sunjewel
