i saw it. right in the middle of my view. i had followed it into a clearing. a kind of... road...? i stopped at the edge for i heard cars driving pass this place earlier. anyway, it was a big strong buck deer. i had been hunting it's herd for hours and now it was all down to me and him. as i crept forward it looked straight at me, but with my intense skills at hunting i blended right in with my surroundings. i pounced and i saw is terrified eyes lock onto mine as i leaped towards it. a dark shadow ran my way and i grunted as it hit me hard in the side. the deer got away.

it was a... dog...?
