Silentstripe sat near a rock, hiding from the hot sun under its shadow. She looked around forsomeone to talk to then decided to tk go the medicine cats den. She knew some survived kits were there laying motherless in the shade. She sniffed into the den and murmured softly "hello?"

Ash and dust, these are the two items that ruled the kits life right now. She must stay near ash or dust, the dull gray substances provided her with a place to hide, her fur the perfect color to blend. For it was only herself, no mama or papa to protect her anymore. Even the trees and bushes had left her. Lowering her head, the young she-kit made her way through a dense pile of ash on a mission to find a place to be safe. Her small stomach growling from the lack of food. Things were not the best for the little kit. She had found a cave, one smelling of cats and herbs. She crawled in in search of foodand that's when she heard the voice of a feline. she slowly backed deeper into the cave staying silent. Where had this other feline come from? Was there another clan other than her own?

Briarberry jumped a fox-length into the air with an "Eep!", but rolled her eyes. "Really Burntfoot?!" She mewed.

Silverstripe smelled the little kit and frowned. "Don't be afraid...i wont hurt you" she said in a soft a loving voice then carefully crawled into the den and nosed around for the kit.

He laughed hard and headbutt Briarberry playfully. "Aww come on Briarberry, you know I'm only playing with you!" he laughed softly and picked her vole up for her. "How are you doing?" He asked her.

LittleBreeze

LittleBreeze began to panic. The feline declared she would not hurt her, but she wasn't of her clan! She was in real trouble right now. Her small head wiped about as suddenly an idea came to the kit. She ran to the far and darkest part of the room and curled next to one of the places in which herbs where kept.She would act like ash, like dust and maybe the older feline would not notice her. She tried to breathe as little as possible as she heard SilverStripe enter

"Im good...kinda..." he sighed softly and let his head hang. "okay...honestly I'm kinda stressed with the hunting situation. We've been struggling ti find...anything....speaking of which...where did you get that?" he asked with narrow eyes.

She crawled deeper and then found a lsrge lump in the ashes and smiled a tiny bit, quickly picking up the kit and she carried her outside. "why are you so afraid of me darling?" she asked the kit kindly as she cleaned her off carefully.

Little breeze mewled as she was picked up by the scruff of her neck. Had she not hidden well enough? She blinked against the sun's light as she stared down at her paws,"P-Please let me go miss." She mewed ever so slightly,"I-I didn't mean to intrude on your clan."
